WM1: Valerio Evangelisti pensa che raccontare l'America non sia impresa da lasciare in esclusiva agli americani. Gli americani sono troppo dentro l'America e i suoi confini immediati, difetta loro la capacità di vedersi da fuori, il distacco parziale, l'empatia con altri mondi e culture. Impero coloniale sui generis, l'America nulla sa di come la vedano i colonizzati.
