I really liked this book for 2 reasons. Firstly it was an enjoyable story, almost a Romeo and Juliet style fable. Secondly it gave some really interesting insight into a culture that few know about.

The story is told in a completely believable way and, though the culture is totally foreign to all readers (I'm sure even those indigenous Australians who might read this tale will find their lives have changed dramatically since the era of the story)it draws the reader in and leaves you anxious to se
