When I first saw this book I knew that I had to get my hands on a copy of it because it deals with one of my most favourite things in the world, animals and it sounded like it would be a more grown up version of James Herriot‘s short stories.

Annie Greer makes me laugh. Her life with animals is a hoot, and the way she and Tim put it in the book had me barrel-rolling over with laughs.
I'm so glad the title focuses on the chimp though, since the story involving said chimp is going to haunt my dreams later this evening! Poor woman must be a little traumatized to say the least, I know I would be.
I really appreciated these humorous tales of her life with various exotic animals. There's nothing Jane Goodall about her, but that's what appeal...more
