Mary Sue heard him speak and was very impressed so she bought this book for me. I agree with his premise that children are a mystery to appreciate, not a problem to be solved or a force to be controlled... But this text was dense and highly academic and it took way more concentration than I was willing to give it now. I gave up and skimmed it after about 1/3 of the way through.
