Trevor Denyer sold me this first class little collection of short stories in person at Fantasycon 2010, for some ridiculous knock-down price like two quid. This modesty seems somehow typical of the man and his work, “The Edge Of The Country” being ideally sized (A5) to slip into the inner pocket of one’s jacket and read on the train. Which is exactly what I did of course, and I can’t remember the last time I chose a better travelling companion.
