What a great idea - House husbands for all the executive woman out there whom cant find the time to do the things that need doing around the house. This one particular man Michael Drake is certainly every girls dream come true, he can cook, clean, organize, wash , mow the lawn - iron you name it !! and Of course good looking !!!
If only in real life this was possible lol.. - but House husbands come at a cost its expensive - ... A organized life - and time left for Kendra to enjoy !!! hmmmmm

This is one of those freebies I picked up on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised.
*Note: This was originally published in the late 80s, so some of the references are dated...and the antique clock she finds is "almost 100 years old" and was made in 1893 LOL

I really liked this book. I thought it was a very creative storyline as far as the "House Husbands" concept. I liked the match between Michael and Kendra and how the weekend away on business got things going. Very fast, light reading. I like the books of Donna Ball's that I have read, she is very easy to read and enjoy.
Positively refreshing story. Kendra is a strong, educated, intelligent, professional, and successful woman - not the typical hot mess needing to be rescued by a man. Loved the relationship development and definitely need a Jake in my life. After the investment in the story and the characters, I needed more details when it came to fruition.
It's okay as a fluffy escape.
