A true book of friendship. Very unlike J.F.'s other books, I fell in love with this one from the first chapter. I love books about new mothers and their relationships with one another and this book had everything I could hope for: friendship, love, a little bit of romance, mystery and a trial. I couldn't ask for a better book. In fact, I've read it five times now!

Set in the Cincinnati area; living near here I enjoyed looking for things familiar to me. Good story; like many of hers hard to read in places~~she makes you want to jump in and DO something about certain situations.

Can't put her books down! Though this one, I thought, left some things hanging that were presented as important at the time but then never were mentioned again. Non-the-less a great book.

This one was good, Whispers and Lies is still my favorite. This one follows 4 women who live on the same street "Grand Avenue." There's murder, betrayal, love, all that stuff. Good read.

Great book. I couldn't put this one down either. Very suspenseful story about 4 women living on the same street in Cincinnati, Ohio and the mysterious secrets that surround them.

I like how Fielding intertwined the lives of four very different women, but was upset with the prologue giving away huge details for the ending.

Joy Fielding does good light thrillers, with enough suspense and character development to keep you reading. This would be a good beach read.

I really felt for these characters. Found myself getting upset and crying at times with them. This is a good book to read.

Didn't like it, yet was engrossed enough in the characters to make sure they were alright, LOL, so I had to finish the book.

I finished it in a day. It was fast and entertaining. Liked the Cincinnati setting and the wacked-out killer.

My number one fave novel of hers. I've read it about 17 times now and it's still thrilling.
