I enjoyed the insider's view of the pro ballroom world. Savoy's commitment to dance was total and her transition from aspiring ballerina to dancesport exhibition/theater arts champion appeared seamless. She made several comparisons of dancesport and ice dancing, similar in artistry and athleticism, disparate in how judging/coaching has been de-politicized in the latter but not the former, to its detriment.
