This is an excellent-excellent book. I can't say how much this book really summarizes a lot of what I have read in a number of other books.

Surprisingly, I finished this 435 page monster in one week. I still have the receipt as a bookmark. It is one of the best books I have ever read, but more from an encouragement and support standpoint.

Amazon has had 215 people review the book. 200 of them gave it 5 stars! the other 15 four stars! It was compelling enough for m...more

Jack Canfield has positivity in his hands and molds it to help him through all of his goals. He has not only made millions of peoples dreams come true by helping to motivate them, but has now put his knowledge of success in one book. The other inspiring part of this book is how he has managed to paraphrase other important and standard self-help and motivational books and condensed the most important parts in his own. He keeps you going with every page. I would stay up to 3am reading, and recentl...more

Listened to this on audio. It was good. I wish that it hadn't been an abridged version though. I also have the book and DVD, which I hope to get through someday. This is definately a book you need to read over and over again to be able to apply the principles to your life. So I am on to the book. I may have to just suck it up and buy this one.

I can't stand the Chicken Soup series (I can't believe I actually picked up this book to begin with), but if you like Canfield's style then you'll like this book. This book is packed with a ton of info about business success (and by extension personal "success," as he defines it). The downside here is that nothing here is original and is actually just a retread of many other self-help "gurus." The only saving grace of this book is it's readability, it's A-Z track to run on an...more

I'm a great fan of self-help books. I read lots of them, enthusiastically, hoping for even one insight that will make me a better person. Canfield's (The Chicken Soup author) offering in the genre is the dumbest self-help book I've ever read. There are 65 principles for success in it, an absurd number that virtually guarantees that you'll never be able to follow any of them. And every single one is a cliche. To write this book, he must have gone to the bookstore, bought every self-help book...more

I like to read to assist in learning and cultivating new habits. This book is full of tips and exercises to put all your thoughts and actions into the perspective that will bring more life fulfillment as you create your destiny. Sometimes the success culture bothers me as so often it features multimillionaires and what it takes to become wealthy. I always read these books within the perspective of success is what you want it to be, the most important thing is continually feeling good about yo...more

I was reading this book and got inspired to work on <a href="http://www.tomorrowit.com>TomorrowIt.com</a>

Even though the principles are not new, they are written in an inspirational way. I'll tell you my story 3 years down the road (2011) and we'll see how I get to where I want to be using these principles.

This is a good book. I often use some of its teachings in my business seminars. I was able to affirm my life purpose through a visualization exercise with Jack Canfield. Since then, I am learning to let go of all the other clutter in my life that is not in line with my purpose.

Everyone should own this. In traditional canfield fashion it give you an ability to use it as a resource and references, lots of great stories but mostly short applicable principles that work for you.

This is a great book. Not hocus pocus - some real tools and examples of success. I would love to turn this into a training class...once these principles work for me of course...lol

Kereeen. Bahasa nya sederhana. Prinsipnya sederhana. Dan bisa fully applied bahkan untuk hal-hal sederhana dalam kehidupan. My fav so far is "Take 100% responsibility of your life"

I'm usually skeptical of self-help books, but this one was excellent and well carried out. This was kind of a combination of all the organizational, how to plan your life, and how to be a successful entrepreneur books I've read all rolled into one. I listened to the audiobook which has 40-some principles, I guess the book has even more? But the principles are each quite valuable and inspirational, and the way they're broken down you can kind of choose which changes in your life you want to work ...more

I think everyone could benefit from reading this book! I wish I would've read it 10 years ago! This book has a lot of information about getting what you want out of life and reaching your most desired goals. It's very helpful because the principles of success that he teaches are broken down into small chapters where he explains how and why you should incorporate the principle into your life. I will read this book another time and highlight important ideas, things to try. He does recommend d...more
