Can I just say that the Pulse series just keeps getting better? Blood Bond kept me on my toes and I loved every second of it. Even though there is a lot of suspense that kept me hitting the next page button over and over well past the time I should have been asleep there is also so much love. I absolutely adore Jaegar!!!! Kalina is letting her life's blood do what it needs to do in order to keep her safe, she has Justin who let me say is one heck of an amazing brother, Octavius who loves her so...more

Honestly I am a little irritated with myself because I feel that this series is really convoluted and the back and forth and hemming and hawing has surpassed what it should have been to make it a really good story. I wish I could just be like "Alright, already Ali, you don't like these books why keep going?" And have it be a simple thing where I tell myself I'm right and I move on. The thing is that despite the mediocre writing and the torturous bouncing between Stuart, Jaegar and Octavius I rea...more Honestly I am a little irritated with myself because I feel that this series is really convoluted and the back and forth and hemming and hawing has surpassed what it should have been to make it a really good story. I wish I could just be like "Alright, already Ali, you don't like these books why keep going?" And have it be a simple thing where I tell myself I'm right and I move on. The thing is that despite the mediocre writing and the torturous bouncing between Stuart, Jaegar and Octavius I really want to see Jaegar get the happy ending and for that I continue to read. I just feel a lot like this is one of those cases where the number of sequels is starting to make the series overcomplicated and the tension that it is creating will never be able to be paid off in the end.

It is really sort of a bizarre connection for me to make but when I started reading YA it was in the 80s and I started with the Sweet Valley High books. I remember how the sort of weird and incestuous friend group that dated one another and were always falling in and out of love thing seemed really interesting then but as I read more books I began to find it tedious and because of it I had had enough around book 20. I have that same sort of ennui about the Pulse series. I wish that since she has begun all these other book series and started really diversifying that she would just wrap it up already. I am compelled to continue reading for Jaegar but at the same time I feel a little like that if I have to read that many more books I will just kick it to the curb until the last book does surface and skip ahead to it. That really isn't my MO though and I really hope that Gow doesn't make me into that sort of reader.

All these books are written in really poor voice and the names of people from history in the past and present (The Stromboli for instance) make me feel a little like my leg is being pulled. I am constantly feeling as if this is ripped right from so many Roman and Greek Tragedies while being unable to maintain any true lesson of any of any of them. And just like all the boyfriends I dated in relationships that I knew were clearly going no where I just keep going on because I think that in the end I won't feel any dumber or less of myself when it is all over so I am soldiering on in this big hot mess. But if at the end she is with Octavius because that is who her "true" blood bond is with and all this wanting, not wanting, wanting shit for Jaegar and Stuart has been for absolutely nothing at all... I will go to the library and get myself paper copies of these books so that I can burn them while chanting to the devil while begging for Kailin Gow to lose her muse and never again darken the literary world with her books.(less)

Blood Bond is an action packed, emotional roller coaster ride, a ride Im sure you will find unpredictable by any means. Well crafted storyline that keeps you hanging off every page.

You will find yourself turning pages late into the night not being able to put it down. I devoured Blood Bond in one sitting and am still awe - struck at the becomings. NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED, but by all mean not at all disspointed.

Blood Bond offers the reader not stop action, still filled with romance and intrigue and an ongoing storyline that will not only entrance you but have you wandering in which direction book 6 will be headed.

A cast of engaging characters, brought forth from previous books, moments where we are enlightened, and also moments where Im sure your mouth will fall agape and wander in sheer curiousity and what the ....... ???

Blood Bood is an adrenline rush -its exciting, titalating,sexy, edgy and suspenseful. We are taken on a rollercoaster ride with Kalina - a decision her blood will have to make will affect her life and her love choices. New becomings arise, giving the storyline a somewhat new direction and a direction the reader will not see coming !!

I eagerly awaited release day, and scoffed this down ,,, to find myself wanting more .... Let me just warn you now, this is a just another taste of whats more to come …and it rocked my socks off!…I’m still on a high after reading Blood bond, it leaves you wanting more and by all means not at all what I expected. ( not in a bad way, Im already assessing where Kailin is taking us in the next story )

“I loved this story… The suspense, romance, twists, and turns are toe curling and will make you spine tingle - … filled with tension and intriguing characters and a love triangle that will have you gapping and kicking and screaming !!!! and an OMG ending !!!

Loved it and cant wait for book 6 !!!

Blood Bond is not a all what you expected !! Believe me !!!!!! There is more to come !!!!!!

I wish this book was longer. I felt like there were so many questions still left unanswered. Now we have to wait yet again and for it to come out in 2012 of all times! This book was really good, as they usually are... a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, but still good.

This latest book in the PULSE series moved very quickly. I don't think there was a moment that any of the characters stopped just to take a breath. I was shocked at the events that took place in the end of the book...which left us, once again, wondering just who Kalina is going to love above all else. Of course, Kalina having to choose between three really hot vampires, doesn't seem like that big of a problem. ;)

I finished reading it last night, and I want to SCREAM!!!... I can't believe it... I guess that means that I'll be keeping my eyes open for book #6 (oh wait, # 7 since #6 is already out there...) to see what happens next... It was a good read though... I wasn't disappointed at all...
