I have to admit that I was horrified by the actions committed against the author as well as the other nuns. How humans can stoop so low is beyond me. The tortures described are just horrendous! But what a wonderful testimony of the power of God's word! Jesus can heal any heart and melt away the hate and fear that fills the heart of the abused, as shown by Charlotte. I love how Charlotte's faith and actions served as a testimony towards her family, and how Jesus was able to start healing the brok...more
