Jay Crawford is newly-divorced, very successful, and on the prowl for a lady from his past. He recently moved to the D.C. area in an attempt to find his former girlfriend who he knows lives in the area. In the meantime, he hangs out in clubs and tries to find a woman who will help him make a new start. When he sees a beautiful young lady sitting in the corner of the VIP room turning down every man who tries to come at her, he thinks he won't have a chance. However, when some Neanderthal grabs he...more

This book was definitely a page turner!! More men should read it to learn the consequences they could face when thinking with the wrong 'head'. This book brings to mind the movie 'A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.' I love a book that puts a player in his place. After a rocky marriage, irresistibly seductive Jay Crawford is ready for a new woman-and a new challenge. It doesn't take him long to discover both in one fine package: Ashlee Anderson. With a face and body that scream sex, she's j...more

She Ain’t the One is my first book I’ve read by both Authors. I had no idea that both Ashlee Anderson & Jay Crawford were characters from other series of books.

Overall I thought this novel was good. The first part of book just contained to much unnecessary sex for me. I felt like every chapter had at least a page and a half or two of just sex escapades. I’m saying this as a fan of Erotica, too. Since I didn’t know Ashlee’s background I kept asking myself what is this chick’...more

I expected more from both authors and perhaps the collaboration is what threw their normal mojo off. Page after page consisted of more sex than meaningful conversation and I was ready to burn the book when the antagonist/she-devil threw another female off the cruise ship with absolutely no repercussion. The clincher for me was the antagonist asking her lover to give her another g-spot orgasm. So the next time you're in the mood, ask your lover using those exact words, "Can you give me a ...more

This was a really good book. Usually I don't like when two writers write together, but this was sooo differnt and flowed nicely together. Someone had mentioned there was too much sex going on the in the beginning and I don't like to sit there and just read about sex, but I didn't think the sex thing came up when it wasn't necessary.

This was a really good book.

This was a good book. Loved the plot, but hated the ending. I didn't understand why Jay went to jail and nobody caught Ashlee. That wasn't fair that he just went to jail and he didn't even do anything, but anyway's it was a good book. Very steamy.

This chick was crazy!! She was definitly not the one. She put that man through hell when he almost deserved it. A female who likes this kind of drama in a book must read this. It almost makes you feel better about your problems
