I'm torn, I don't know what to say about this book. This book is so short, the two characters has an 8 minute conversation the length of the book. It felt like requesting a kindle sample which has limited amount of pages. (Might be spoilers) The book was ok but when I started relaxing and getting into it, it was finished. It started out with Danica having thoughts to herself about her son being tease about not having a dad, so she decides to fix something to eat, while doing this, her door bell...more
A good story which would have been even better if the final two pages were lengthened in story detail by about two more pages, and, thereby, would have possessed more build up in the story events.

I'd like to say growing up on the tough streets of Chicago inspired my feisty heroines, but actually I was raised in a cozy little suburb, by parents who sheltered me. Guess it was other things along the way that gave me my attitude. You know - relationships, jobs, lack of funds, life in general.
