Really, there were only three writers in here who caught my attention-Maria Laurino, Gina Barreca and Marianna De Marco Torgovnick. And that's why I read it, to see who would catch my attention, and then what they did to catch it.

Italian Americans are wonderful! what a warm and strong culture. Some essays better than others, but one even includes a few recipes!
