Man In Control (Long, Tall Texans #25)
Ever since DEA agent Alexander Cobb had given Jodie Clayburn a Texas-size brush-off, they'd been sworn enemies. But eight years later, an undercover operation brought them back together again. This cynical Long, Tall Texan couldn't believe the baby-faced schoolgirl was now an understated beauty who electrified his senses and his heart. Or that she'd help him crack the drug...more
The back cover for this is completely misleading. Whoever wrote the blurb apparently only skimmed the book ...more
I enjoyed Alexander and Jodie's characters. They make a cute couple. But there were times where I want to hit Alex hard in the face for being such an ass to Jodie and for treating her poorly just because he can't control his hormones. But I'm glad that he came to his senses and realized what had been righ ...more
Tapi nanti-nanti lagi lah. Cerita yang kebanyakan cinta-cintaannya emang bukan daerah jajah ...more

The female protagonist is a virgin. *rolling eyes* Naive but of course, she is beautiful.
The male protagonist is a jerk. OK, so in the end he becomes a reformed man. At least that's one of the reasons why I gave 3 stars to this book.
When Jodie is invited to the Cobb family ranch to help with a party that could launch Alexander's sister in the fashion world their relationship comes to a head. Jodie overhears Alexander confiding some not nice things about her to his sister and she decides once and for all to remove herself form th ...more

The ending trails off with several plot issues unresolved, probably to come up again in later books in the series. The plot was pretty nonsensical anyway, so it doesn't matter much.
One thing that irked me a little -- Jodie starts the book having lost a considerable amount of weight, and Alexander ...more
Jodie and Alexander's always fighting. They seems like they hate each other but to be honest, Jodie's in love with Alexanders since forever. And apparently Alexander's feeling the same way but he's just to scared to admit it and said bad things to her. She's hurt and flew back to her home only to find Alexander, sitting in front of her, begging her to come back..
Not exactly like that, but let's just say I like it ...more
