Ah, what a shame!

I LOVED this series at the beginning. The first four books were really good. They were interesting, well written, unique and captivating. It's completely lost its way though, sadly. The last two books have been huge let downs.

This was just really... boring. I feel like it was a waste of time and money and I don't feel like I gained anything by reading it. It was really all over the place and I just didn't care! Whatever spark these books used to have is sadly gone and it's suc

This series cuts me in half. It's really good on some parts, others not so much.

I've wanted to give a review since the third book but since I've reached this book I thought what the heck, let me just start from here and see if i can sum it up from the first book up to this one:

Schuyler/Jack - They're relationship is pretty annoying.

It's always the same. Hot guy never notices girl. Girl falls maddeningly in love with secretive, brooding boy the very first time they *flirt*. I could just see where

The Blue bloods series is definitely my dirty pleasure ^_^; I dunno what it is about this series but it got me hooked... bah... ok I loooved Jack and Sky that's why I've hung in there.. Now I just want to see how everything ends. That is all.

Oh my God, I didn't see this coming! Engrossing, heart pounding, jaw-dropping secret spilling, action-packed and… finally! Finally, connection!!! It all makes sense now, except what happened in Florence?
We now know what sky is… her connection to the gate of promise… But, how did Allegra and Luci ahh… make Bliss??? Again, WTF happened in Florence! Melissa de la Cruz gave this book her best! And… I approve!
Blueblood series is a must read and the journey is just beginning, (at least that’s my opini

Is it just me or do these books feel like they're dragging on now. The first three books were like blam, blam, blam and then it was like, schuuurch! I have been reading them because I try to be loyal, but this one I just can't. I cannot soldier through. I have only read maybe two pages and I just can't. Where's the tension. Schuyler, in my opinion was never a great heroine, she had her moments but the secondary characters were who kept me reading and then it just got so tedious, like poor Oliver ...more

For starters I only had a little clue on what I was getting into. Which is surprising since this the 6th blue blood book and by which it is evident that I should have been more than just a little clued in on the happenings. But that is the beauty of this series, it is highly unpredictable. You are never sure what to expect and when you do expect something the author again throws something unexpected at you. At one point in this book I even thought that the author is going to pull of a "Breaking ...more

Just.. whoa.
So, Lost in Time takes after Jack-s and Schuyler’s bonding.
Now they’ve got to wake up and do what they planned to do all along, to stay true to their duty.
Meanwhile, Mimi decides she cares more about having her love back with her than taking revenge on her betraying twin.
So she sets off for Hell, accompanied by Oliver.
Like Bloody Valentine, we don’t have Bliss’s POV anymore. I wonder what she’s doing, how’s her mission doing. But anyway.
This book is all fighting and adventure, s

Wow... I am so addicted to this series it's kind of scary. Kingsley and Mimi I ship a lot. I really feel bad for Oliver. And definitely, the ending was a bit of a surprise. But a nice surprise. And the twins... Yay! Twins!

This is the penultimate installment of the Blue Bloods series. I can’t really discuss plot without spoiling the other series, but suffice it to say that Jack and Schuyler are happy (for now, but for how long?), Mimi wants to get Kingsley back and we start learning more about Allegra’s backstory from her own narration.

The next book should be incredible—a final showdown between Blue Bloods and Silver Bloods, AND with the addition of a player we learn about at the end of Lost in Time. (I know that

What happened?

After enjoying the previous books, I ended up flipping through to see what happened in this latest installment. The characters have changed either to whiny teenagers or teenagers who act & speak as though they're eighty years old. I felt like character development was halted in this book.

In the other books of this series the plot usually quite fast but in Lost in Time the storyline is just so dull, boring and predictable
Unfortunately, I probably won't bring myself to complete
Finally got the correct copy and holy crap was it amazing! My only problem? The next book doesn't come out until January 2013! JANUARY 2013!!! I don't think I can make it that long without some Mimi on Kingsley action!

Can I just say how much this book is The Bomb Diggity? I mean really, it is da bomb! OK, first off the plot line. Man o man, was it good. I have never felt right at home when reading this book. With every turn of the page, I felt the energy flowing between my fingers as I delved into this world. Everything is at its own time and nothing is left out.

The characters of this book are right where they are supposed to be and them some. So many new changes, both good and bad, had me smiling. I love the

I have been a loyal follower of the series since reading the first book.

To be honest, this book left me feeling rather ... confused. First off, I'm not a fan of the romantic pairings. I'm not a Jack & Schuyler fan, I'm not a Mimi & Kingsley fan, and I'm definitely not an Allegra & Ben fan. So, the pairings leave much to be desired on my end; however, what I have always enjoyed about this series has been the different characters, as individuals, and also the whole concept of Fallen An

Finished this a week after its due at the library.

Whoops. On the positive side, it's been forever since I've had a library fine! Makes me feel like a kid again when I misplaced books all the time. My mom always carried extra change into the library just in case I had a fine when we were doing our bi-weekly library visit on Saturdays.

I'll be honest, I'm really just wanting to get to the end. This series is super long in regards to how many books, but each book is just super short so it's not that

much better than the last book, i still miss the more straight forward narrative of the earlier books.

i love what mimi is becoming, and doing. i miss bliss and want her own book now. i thought the inclusion of the beauchamp witches was possibly a little forced, but i didn't mind so much. the whole catherine of siena thing annoyed me.

yes, it's a set up book. and it's lame that it's setting up for a book that is over a year away from release, but it's not like we haven't had this before . . . th

Oy vey, I'll be so glad when this series is over. At this point I'm only reading it because I want to know what happens in the end. I feel like my mom watching Days of Our Lives despite the fact that she dislikes most of the characters and tends to fast-forward through storylines she doesn't care about. This book nearly killed it for me; I was so close to just putting the book down and writing off the series for good until I glanced in the back of the book (mostly to see how much more I had to r ...more

First, books that go back and forth between storylines drive me insane.
Second, there is so much assumed by the author. Does she think I know anything about...
Seven circles, gates, gatekeepers, star keys, Paul Rayburn and Onbasius and the list goes on and on.
The concept of Nephilum is never fully explained and very different than every other source. Aren't Nephilum the children of humans and fallen angels. Uh, making Schuyler one? Forked tongues?
And please tell me more about the gate keepers! Se

In the book Lost In Time, it's like every other book, they broke it up in three different characters. This time, it was about Schuyler, Allegra, and Mimi. The book like always started with Schuyler. Schuyler now is in Egypt with her beloved couple, Jack, since Jack is trying to survive the blood trial from her sister, Mimi. Schuyler and Jack are still looking for the gatekeeper. They've gone to almost every underworld there is, and it's always the wrong one. While they search for the gatekeeper, ...more

I thought the book "Lost in Time" was a really good book. Jack and Schulyer are still looking for the gatekeeper, Catherine of Siena. They realized that she was in Cairo so that is where they went. When they got there Jack could since that his sister, Mimi, was there as well. Mimi was there with Oliver to try and get her beloved Kingsley back. As Mimi and Oliver descend deeper into Hell Mimi knows that it is a huge risk taking a human down there. Jack knows that the bond between him and Schulye ...more

OH GOD. This book was SO GOOD. So, sure, Misguided Angel baffled the living daylights out of me, but now that I've read Bloody Valentine, and now that I've read Lost In Time, I realise just how much I LOVED this series back when I first started reading it, because there's just SO MUCH AWESOME occurring. Lost In Time takes what was so good about Bloody Valentine, and makes it a hundred times better. The three different perspectives were ridiculously gripping. Lost in Time follows three separate story lines that in the end come together and set things up for the next and last book in the series.

Mimi is traveling through the Underworld with faithful Oliver by her side to retrieve Kingsley, the man she loves. Mimi is a character that really sneaked up to me. I despised her personality and behavior in the first three books of the series, but now she is one of my dearest characters to read about. Out of all the characters that we met during the Blue Blood

I'm real disappointed that literally NOTHING happened in this book. Nothing was solved, questions answered but that lead to more unanswered questions, characters brought back but high prices were paid. Characters felt tacky, unrealistic, nothing was the same, these characters were just so 2D, Bland and boring. It's as if each character is a completely different person. I don't know how Melissa de la Cruz did it, but just to imagine myself writing such a boring book kills me. I skimmed the last h ...more

About the Book:
It's near the end of the Blue Bloods series, and the action and adventure is heightening with each tale. In this book, we follow three different stores. The first one revolves around Schuyler and Jack as they continue to seek out the Gate of Promise. In this story, they continue to have issues with the bonding link. putting more pressure on Jack to figure out what to do. Then, in Mimi's story, she and Oliver travel to Hell to retrieve Kingsley's soul. The final story is set in the
