One of the best and i should say very rare manga to find! ASide from the mystery identity of the guy that hooked me so much, it's also a thought-provoking one. There are a lot of quotes and scenes that touched my heart. The relationship of the characters was really amusing and the character development is very good. The guy protagonist is so unique, he's the 'knight and shining armour' type but not portrayed as the perfect exaggerated one but was created to be a more 'realistic' character that h...more

The series is beginning to feel a bit stretched to me. Tender moments aside, it's getting tiresome to keep getting hints as to Daisy's past sin. And, Teru is constantly in danger from a continually changing cast of bad "guys" who either reform or disappear. The scene where she (view spoiler) strained my credibility, even for shoujo manga. And, the puppy sequence at the end could have been bonus material. I hope th...more
This book belonged to the best shoujo manga ever! Actually, there are lots of factors that bring out it's awesome-ness, (1)With its strong heroine, (2)conflicted hero, and (3)story -- OF COURSE that does both humor and emotion well, it is still most definitely a series worth reading.

for more information, I found this cool review: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/revie...

Teru has got to be one of my most favorite heroines ever. She's got guts and is resourceful and hilarious and isn't afraid to show her emotions. She wasn't afraid to risk her life and her guilty conscious is one that isn't hard to sympathize with. She's an awesome girl. No wonder Kurosaki likes her. Poor guy, he's got his work cut out for him.

I think it's been too long since I last read volume 5 (again, not my fault; no store seemed to want to have this volume in, but were okay with all the others), because my excitement for it has dimmed. A lot. Which I'm a little upset by, because I know I really like this series, but still didn't enjoy it as much as I have before.
The volume opens with Teru having a dream conversation with her brother, which is sweet. Then we see her waking up in Kurosaki's arms, which is so cute. But then...more
The plot is picking up again in this volume.
Mr. Arai gets in contact with Rena, telling her off his plans to confess to the director about the messages and his 'partner' attacking Teru. But he's cut off suddenly after it's revealed he had no idea about ms. Mori's attack... And then Teru is suddenly kidnapped while waiting for a ride from Kurosaki. The identity of Mr. Arai's 'partner' is revealed after Mr. Arai confesses everything to Teru (and Kurosaki and the boss who are listening over her cel...more
Dengeki Daisy has everything that I love about the shoujo genre in it - a fun plot, great characters, believable romance, and a little bit of angst. The balance is just about perfect (I might ask for a little bit more on plot if I had my way - the computer hacking aspect of the plot is too interesting not to develop further, but I think that we'll get more on this as the story unfolds, so I'll be patient).

Our heroine, Teru, especially shines in this volume. We're told how smart she is (top of he...more
I completely forgot I hadn't read this volume! I got Volume 7 earlier this week and was confused at how it seemed like a whole bunch of stuff had gone down I couldn't remotely remember. Quick look at my book list from last year and voila! It appeared I had somehow tricked myself into thinking I'd read volume 6 when I hadn't.

Teru gets kidnapped this volume (view spoiler). This doesn't do much to move the plot along, the hac...more

Anytime I see the word "kidnapping" in a plot summary, I think "drama." And drama is indeed the best way to describe volume 6 of Dengeki Daisy. I was surprised that the kidnapping was not the main subject of the volume. It infused the entire plot, but it happened early on and a lot more happened after it was resolved.

The plot keeps getting more and more complicated. A little silly, I suppose, but this isn't the type of manga that you expect to be particularly realistic. I do like how all the cha...more

That fight with Teru and..that was brave of Teru. Story keeps getting good with a new twist with each volume. And just who is that person Teru was told about...the one she couldn't help but think reminds and looks a little like...Good volume in the series.

My Thoughts:

Kurosaki seems to be getting closer and closer to making a decision about what to tell Teru. I'm hoping he'll do it soon. Teru needs to hear his words. Besides, she deserves them.

Dengeki Daisy is a favorite of mine for not only for its beautiful artistic characters but also for the romance that just tantalized me through and through but also for the tight-knit relations that the characters have. Through a darkened past, they all stick close to each other because they are more of a family. That is what I find beautiful about this manga.

Definitely something Shojo fans should look into. You'll fall for the characte...more
Kurosaki is so sweet, but here's hoping that he tells Teru the truth soon. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This story has definitely gotten more focused on the romance, which is fine, only I find I'm really kind of missing all the stuff about the computer hacking and Teru's dead brother. Those are the things that really drew me into the series in the first place, and though the romance is funny and angsty and slightly inappropriate, I can't help but want more of the suspense. Not that there isn't any in this volume, but it was all pretty easily resolved and with little damage done. I'm ready for Moto...more

The story heats up, and while it's been a little slow for awhile, we see glimmerings of where this is going next. Can't wait to read the next installment!
This volume was a lot of fun & filled with exciting chapters and fun character developments. I also enjoyed the "Zoom in on Tasuku Kurasaki" page as well as the 2 short stories "Holy Night Cosplay Legend & Everyone's Happy New Year ღ" at the end of the volume.

Contains Chapters: 25 - 29
Bonus Chapter: Holy Night Cosplay Legend
Bonus Chapter: Everyone's Happy New Year ღ

They. Need. To. Get. Together!!

Dear Kyousuke - it's been 6 volumes, dude. 6. Whole. Volumes. How much longer can they possible be so adorable and skirt around each other?! Actually, don't answer that. I want to pretend that I'll open up Volume 7 and ta-da!! They're a couple...finally. :D

Great final to the reveal of the fake "Daisy" arc! Now we see how the two main characters (Teru and Kurosaki) deal with their growing attractions.
