Methodology is a very difficult part of knowledge. How to teach effectively, how to translate knowledge onto common language, how to keep the point in material selection, etc. etc. Such questions are very good resolved in the evaluated book: "An introduction to management science" 13th Ed. I can compare this edition to the 6th one, and can say that both books can add very important impact to a growth of knowledge. Overall, I feel I learned a lot from this text. I bought the international edition, which came with a software disc called "The Management Scientist." I later found out this software was not included with the U.S. edition, which proved to give me a leg up (I felt) as compared to the rest of the students in my class.
