But bears aren't the only scary thing out in those woods. The Briarwood Boys are staying in a cabin just a few yards away, which meansthe girls in Massie's Underground Clinic for Kissing (M.U.C.K) might have to find the guts to put their money where their well-glossed mouthes are.

I thought that this book was pretty good but in a way its kind of stupid too. i read the book and while i read it im thinking about how stupid the girls in the book are. First of all "The Pretty Committee" consistits of Massie, the queen bee, Alicia, Dylan, Kristen, and Claire who basicaly do whatever Massie does. they have specific clothing to wear and shopping lists and all that. i think its fine if they are friends but every girl has a mind of her own so why should they always listen to Massi...more

I enjoyed this book. It was very girly, cute and fun! I liked the idea of how the girls go on the trip with the guys!

At the beginning of the book, I was a little confused with the Pretty Committee’s relationship with Claire. They were treating her like a friend but they seemed weird about it. They seemed kind of shaky and like they didn’t open of the door to their clique fully, so to say. Why were they treating her that way? I thought they were cool.

I know that Massie loves her friends; I learne...more

This book is about a group of girlie girls who go onto a school trip. They each have someone who they like and who they hope they can flirt with during the trip. But little do they know that it will not be that easy. The teacher will be making sure that they do their work, and that they stay away from boys. But each girl still seems to have some sort of drama whether it be boy of family or friend.
I can connect this book to my self and my school. In my school there are plenty of girlie girls w...more

After Alicia’s sassy cousin Nina, who stole everyone’s heart, was proven for the devious thief she really was, Massie expected all to adore her once again. Yet, she overhears some of her fans planning to get in touch with Nina for some boy advice. Massie can’t have her admirers thinking she hasn’t any experience with boys, so she starts “Massie’s Underground Clinic for Kissing (M.U.C.K.) even though she’s never kissed a boy herself. The Pretty Committee (Massie, Alicia, Claire, Dylan) with the e...more

This book was- at least for me- a definite page turner. And not because I thought it was an amazing book with a meaningful plot and dynamic character, but because it was hilarious in ways it wasn't supposed to be. The Clique series is based around five spoiled girls: Massie Block, Kristen Gregory, Dylan Marvil, Alicia Rivera, and Claire Lyons who attend a private school in Westchester. Although these girls label themselves as 'friends' they're constantly having cat-fights and backstabbing each o...more

In this Clique book the Pretty Comittee is off to Lake Placid for a three day camping trip. Of course the girls get together and start packing. They bring their best clothes in the newest styles because the briarwood boys are going to be there also. However, Kristen is not going because the trip is 1,500 dollars and Kristen can not afford that. When they finally get to lake Placid they meet up with a briarwood teacher who only allows them to have one outfit, no electronics and no meeting up the...more

While Kristen is at home the pretty comitte along with the rest of ocd and the briarwood boys are on a field trip to Lake Placid N.Y. Massie tricks all the girls into thinking she got her first kiss with Derrington and tries to teach a class on kissing. Claire is trying to get cam back but finds out that josh has a crush on her. Claire also has to keep her kiss with josh a secret from Alicia or this will not be pretty.but while all this happens Kristen sneaks out of her house and sneakers into t...more

This was a fun book with a L-O-T of drama. See my book review from below:

DRAMA! When Octavian Country Day (OCD) school goes on a class trip, each member of the Pretty Committee (PC), the coolest girls at OCD, has a secret or some personal drama. Massie, the PC's head alpha, lied about having kissing experience to hold a kissing clinic to raise money for her friend, Kristen, a member of the PC; no one except the PC knows Kristen's family couldn't afford the school's trip fees. Will the girls of t...more

In The Pretty Committee Strikes Back, Claire is finally apart of the Pretty Committee and feels amazing about it. Nothing could be better for Claire because she has a cell phone, new shoes, and a lot of candy. If only Claire could get her boyfriend back the world would be perfect. So when Claire's school goes to camp, she finally thinks she has a chance of getting Cam back. But when everything that could go wrong ( Massie be...more

I thought Pretty Committee Strikes Back was a great book! I loved Lisi Harrison’s main topic when the two schools went camping. I really enjoyed it and thought that it was interesting how the boys were brought into the story. Also being in middle school, it was easy for me to relate to some of the conflicts that came up throughout the book. I do think that it was a little over the top though because The Pretty Committee acted extremely rude and disrespectful towards most of their peers that were...more

This book was sooooo good that I was actually able to finish the whole thing today! It was about how the pretty committee and the rest of OCD(their school) goes on this big 3 day class trip to lake placid. The girls have many problems to fix there, and they are hoping that they will all come back happy. At first that's how it goes, but after they get everything that they asked and wished for, they get expelled. This is because after their friend Kristen stayed back because she couldn't afford th...more

This book is the 5th book of The Clique series. It brings more stories to tell when they accept a new official member of the clique. When everyone else in the group has everything perfect, with all the last fashion and presents. The new member doesn't care about the clothes and presents all she wants is her first kiss from her crush.

I can relate to this because when I was in elementary school, I use to be in a group where they all wanted to be cool and keep up with the latest stuff. I was in t...more

This book is about the 5 girls in the pretty committee goes on a school trip. Kristen can't go because her parents can't afford it. Oh course Massie, Dylan, and Alicia try and help Kristen by paying for her to go. She won't let them so she doesn't go. Dylan's mom goes on the trip, which is not good. She starts to hit on the geography teacher that goes. Massie and Derrington are still on for that kiss and Claire tries to get Cam back. Find out the big surprise at the end that happens to the whole...more

this book was insanely awesome!!! the pretty committee goes on a camping trip with the Briarwood boys, but Kristen has to stay behind. Massie is planning on getting her popularity back after snot-nosed Nina took it away in the fourth book, Invasion of the boy Snatchers. So, massie creates an underground clinic for kissing- MUCK, as she calls it. she invites LBR's {looser beyond repair} to the clinic, maybe the LBR's could have their first kiss at the trip! when kristen sneaks out to the lake- wh...more

This book was overall a good book. The main theme was to be the best you could be; the way you dressed, the friends you had, how much money your parents let you spend at the mall. The girls of Octavian Country Day school go on a trip to Lake Placid for President's Day. There, they encounter some obstacles that they have to overcome. Massie has to see the crush of her dreams, while Dylan's mother ends up surprising her by coming on the trip with them. In the end, Dylan hates the trip because her...more

This fifth installment of the Clique books has much more girl/boy interaction and romance, and I love that Claire is now an official member of the clique. I don't know if this book moves slower than the previous four, or if I've just outgrown this series. Since book 1, I've been older than the age group that generally read this series, yet I kept an open mind and loved these books. I don't like the cattiness anymore, and I think (dare I say) that the behavior of these girls isn't a good influenc...more

This was one of the best books i have read. It is interesting and exciting. Massie is about to have her first kiss with Derrington, but gets interupted by Kuh-laire, and her problems with Cam. Everyone seems to be getting their own way except for Massie. This trip to Lake Placid was going to be, the romantic place she had pictured, where she would have her first kiss. After Nina, Alicia's cousin, goes back to Spain everyone goes to her for boy questions instead of going to Massie. Massie needs t...more

This is a fun series to read... a nice break from the more serious books that I'm used to reading. I'm not into wilderness/camping stories, but this book kept my interest, and I liked the way that things worked out for the characters. The ending was unexpected as well, and makes me want to read the next book to find out what happens.

However, I didn't like the fact that there was a reference to oral sex and talk about tongue kissing in this book. Without that and the other sexual comments, this s...more

Took an AR test. Know I did pretty well.

I just found out that they are making the last Clique book ever and I'm pretty dissapointed because even though I'm only like in the 8th book I still am going to be upset when I have no more clique books to read. they have become a part of me in a way where if they are having trouble with something then I'm upset. If they are having a great day then I'm happy. If something is going great with their relationships on something like that I'm happy. Its just...more

In this book, the Pretty Committee goes to Lake Placid for an overnight field trip and Dylan has just lost a couple of pounds after a bad bout of the flu. To prepare, Massie Block opens up MUCK which stands for Massie's Underground Clinic for Kissing. At Lake Placid, Dylan Marvil (daughter of Merri-Lee Marvil (famous T.V. show host; The Daily Grind) sees her mom flirting with her history teacher. That's bad news for Dylan, because with that, she could gain all of those extra pounds back. They al...more

This book is awesome! I think it's one of the best "Clique" books written! The main characters in this book are Massie, Claire, Kristen, Dylan, and Alicia. They all go to the same school, and their school is going to go on a camping trip with another school(Massie's school is all girls, the other school is all boys). Once they get there, though, they realize 3 days with boys can have pros and cons. To find out what happens on the trip, you need to read The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi H...more
