I thought that this book was pretty good but in a way its kind of stupid too. i read the book and while i read it im thinking about how stupid the girls in the book are. First of all "The Pretty Committee" consistits of Massie, the queen bee, Alicia, Dylan, Kristen, and Claire who basicaly do whatever Massie does. they have specific clothing to wear and shopping lists and all that. i think its fine if they are friends but every girl has a mind of her own so why should they always listen to Massi...more

it takes place in a really upscale camp in Lake Placid where the 7th grade girls of OCD and the 7th grade boys of Briarwood good to spend presidents day weekend. I enjoyed this book. It was very girly, cute and fun! I liked the idea of how the girls go on the trip with the guys!
At the beginning of the book, I was a little confused with the Pretty Committee’s relationship with Claire. They were treating her like a friend but they seemed weird about it. They seemed kind of shaky and like they didn’t open of the door to their clique fully, so to say. Why were they treating her that way? I thought they were cool.

This book is about a group of girlie girls who go onto a school trip. They each have someone who they like and who they hope they can flirt with during the trip. But little do they know that it will not be that easy. The teacher will be making sure that they do their work, and that they stay away from boys. This book was- at least for me- a definite page turner. And not because I thought it was an amazing book with a meaningful plot and dynamic character, but because it was hilarious in ways it wasn't supposed to be. I thought Pretty Committee Strikes Back was a great book! I loved Lisi Harrison’s main topic when the two schools went camping. I really enjoyed it and thought that it was interesting how the boys were brought into the story. Also being in middle school, it was easy for me to relate to some of the conflicts that came up throughout the book. this book was insanely awesome!!! the pretty committee goes on a camping trip with the Briarwood boys, but Kristen has to stay behind. This was one of the best books i have read. It is interesting and exciting. Massie is about to have her first kiss with Derrington, but gets interupted by Kuh-laire, and her problems with Cam. This is a fun series to read... a nice break from the more serious books that I'm used to reading. I'm not into wilderness/camping stories, but this book kept my interest, and I liked the way that things worked out for the characters. The ending was unexpected as well, and makes me want to read the next book to find out what happens.

i liked this book.
