I was in the mood for a spicy, fun and easy read and that is exactly what I got!

This is the first book about Bliss, Colorado. A sexual sanctuary, where all kinks are out in the open. I absolutely adored this quirky town and all its crazy inhabitants. I would recommend leaving your sense of reality behind, and dive into the spicy craziness of this series. I will definitely read on! It will be my go-to "relax my brain with some yummy book candy"-series.

I LOVED this story. The interaction between the heroine and the twin, yes I said TWIN, hero's was great. There were so many times when I laughed out loud and actually snorted (I don't snort). The love scenes were HOT and there was a villian that was truly evil. The secondary characters were great too and I am going to start reading Callie's story now and hope soon there will be Stephan's story. I wanted this story to go on and on. I live in Colorado now and am ready to move to Bliss, Colorado.

4 1/2 stars! A fun, hot, emotional story set in the quirky town of Bliss.

This book sort of reminded me of the craziness on the classic show Green Acres, but with a lot of steam and nakedness. Max and Rye, twins with such different personalities but each one delicious in his own way. Rachel is strong, sassy, sexy and willing to take them both on. Wow!! Lots of laughs, great supporting characters and a little bit of suspense. I can't wait to go back to Bliss for another visit.

I was pleasantly surprised, as I was introduced to Max and Rye (short for Ryan) and really got to know them as people, falling head over heels for these boys in the process. The two guys decide, for the good of their future families, that they needed to pursue separate relationships. They want to be normal...well as normal as two slightly mind-melded hotties can be living in a hippie founded town, while dealing with the nudists, the mimes, and the alien conspiracy theorists. For me the best way to accept a less than socially accepted situation is to show me how, it could be normal for the characters. And I was totally in love with the town from the first description. When Sheriff Rye broke out the alien technology detector to scan Mel's house to ensure he wasn't in danger of another anal probe....yup....I was cracking up.

Our heroine is running from a psycho stalker. And what better place to run than into the arms of a notorious bastard horse wrangler. But from the start we see that Max, who is known to flip his lid if his burger is not burnt to a crip, is no match for Rachael...er...Liz...er...whoever she calls herself at the time.

Rye comes back from a two-week hiatus to see his twin head over heels for the new waitress in town. He even ate pickles for her!!! But sorry M/M enthusiasts...it's not those kind of pickles. *snort* These boys share, but no twincest in this novel.

Rachael...the name of her new identity, and who we know her as through most of the book, begins a relationship with Max. Well she screws him in a pond and then decides he's a keeper, at any rate.

We get a lot of..."I don't know if we'll scare her away."...with a smattering of "I don't want to come between them"...and just a dash of "I can't put people I care about in danger" before all three of our menage finally realize they've been dumbasses and want the same thing.

This book was sexual tension at its best. While we get a little one on one action from our heroine and Max pretty early on, we don't get the money scene starring Rach, Max, and Rye, until after half-way through this tale. And ooooh baby did we get rewarded for our wait.

I love the way Sophie Oak blends a little action, a lot of heat, and a little humor in her books. I found myself bouncing around from squirming at the heat between our trio, feeling scared for our heroine, and laughing at Rye's frequent maturbatory trips to the bathroom. This book was a fun ride and I couldn't put it down.

We get M/F, M/F/M, and some light D/s stuff. But mostly I got to know a great cast of characters, and enjoy the tale of how they all came together in a crazy situation. This is the type of book I love to read, because it's not able to be classified. Was it SuperSmut...well not really...the sex scenes were smokin...but it didn't take up too much of the book. Was it comedy...while it was funny...and had me snorting coffee out my nose at points...there were too many other factors at play. Was it a thriller...well there were definitely some thrilling moments (I want my own guesthouse now)...it was definitley not focused heavily on the non-sexual action. So lets call this one a definite re-read and leave it at that. (especially chapter 13...*fans self*)(less)

What I liked about Oaks ménage is that there is some build—well, as much build as you can get from 240 pages. Rachel Swift is a woman on the run who has been chased down and hunted by a one-time blind date gone wrong. He’s fixated on her and wants her dead, after he’s done with her of course. She can’t trust the cops, because he is one. When she meets Alex she’s immediately pulled in. Then Ryan enters the stage and the rumors of how the boys like to share women soon get her curious. However, Alex doesn’t want to share.

This book was tons of fun right from the get go, especially with Rachel beating Alex to a pulp with some roses. The guys trying to convince Rachel that she should be with both of them. When all along Rachel is plotting to make them see that she wants them both. This wacky and sexy tale takes place in fictional Bliss Colorado, where strange sexual flavors are OK and the nudists from the nudist colony are always scaring the tourists.

This book is fun in and out of the bedroom giving erotica readers just what they were seeking in an ménage amour title. Maybe due to lack of a decent page count things move on swiftly, like Rachel excepting her two lovers. Either way this is tons of dirty fun! If the sex scenes don’t get your blood pumping the game of predator and prey will. As Rachel’s psycho wanna-be boyfriend sneaks into town ready to take her and her lovers out. Oak also builds up enough of the supporting cast that you can anticipate sequels—trust me you'll want them.

Sexual Content: Threesomes, sex toys, submissive sex, nudists running amuck, and plenty of dirty talk.

3/5- Adored it, just a few minor details held it back.

I thought this book was so much fun to read, mostly because Max and Rye really didn't know what they were getting when they met Rachel. She didn't make things easy on them, but then again the guys didn't make things easy on themselves either.

The doctor who treats her covers for her and lies to the cops, saying she'll be held for 48hours, but he is really trying to help her get out of town. A nurse shows up with a bag of clothes, complete with fake ids and some advice for Liz to get as far away from the town as possible. Now, it was probably understandable that a nurse at the hospital would want to help Liz, considering that the nurse's daughter had been killed by her ex boyfriend who had stalked and harassed her. But it stretched the laws of believability that the rest of the staff would contribute to a collection for a perfect stranger and come up with $5000 so Liz could start her new life. Oh, and they did this 'all the time'. They must be the best paid medical staff in history.

From there, the story just became more eye-roll worthy. Rye and Max's girlfriend's exit from the story was dramatic and unrealistic, as were Liz's (now Rachel) encounter with Max at the pond (complete with his out of nowhere declaration of love), their subsequent fight at the diner and the ridiculous auction. The twists were extremely predictable. Did anyone really not know that the first 'threesome sex scene' was Rye dreaming, or that he was the one in the shower..or what the last scene would be in the epilogue? It was all very textbook. So why three stars and not one?

I absolutely LOVED the brothers. Rye and Max were hot, adorable, funny and interesting. The author did an awesome job of describing their relationship and their sharing. Rye's sacrifice for his brother will touch you and you will find yourself really wanting it to work out for them. I loved how the usually grumpy, hard-nosed Max was a puddle of goo around Rachel and how the town's people reacted to the dramatic change. It was also a nice twist to make Rye the more laid back one in general but more demanding in bed. Rachel was great at times too. I liked that she was strong, and that she was a match for Max's temper, even though I felt the author went too far at times...like at the diner and at the hospital with Max and Rye's sister.

I LOVED the town of Bliss. All the residents were interesting and you really got that small town vibe. Lines like 'cell phones were working overtime' made me laugh because you really cannot keep a secret in a small town. Quigley = best dog ever.

Sex scenes were hot. The menage really worked and there was an equality there that isn't always present in menage stories.

The story got a bit confusing at times because the author would switch between time lines, or have a scene, and then continue from a different character's point of view, but back it up to just before the end of the last scene. So, for eg. I don't want to give away the story...but let's say Rye gets the feeling that his twin Max has been hurt, and he's rushing out the house to go to him. In the next scene, Max is contemplating life as he's out riding...for like a full two pages... and then his horse gets spooked...and he starts to fall. But you've already spent the two pages going, 'Wait, is Rye's twin-dar broken or what?' It worked sometimes but when she did it Rachel's/Liz's history with Tommy I was lost for a few paragraphs and had to go back and re-read.

All in all, this is a fun book if you choose to suspend believability or any hope of being surprised. Towards the end I was skipping pages. Still, I loved the characters and the menage aspect is done well. Not a five star book by any means in my opinion, but I'd give it a solid three. (less)

I've heard tons of talk about this series and while I definitely had a few issues with it, overall it was an enjoyable read and the sex scenes were well done and hot!

I really loved the characters, and the story in Three to Ride, the themes revolve around staying true to yourself. Rachel has been running for so long, and along the way she lost herself. She lost her fight to fear, and thanks to Max and Rye, she begins to find herself again. Max and Rye feel that they will never find the perfect woman for them, and they deny an important part of themselves, each other. Thanks to Rachel, they also begin to accept themselves again. The setting, Bliss, Colorado, is highly entertaining. The town is filled with a bunch of quirky, entertaining, and fun characters who I enjoyed reading about as well.

Three to Ride is an erotic romance novel, and the sex is smoking hot. The thing I really enjoy about Sophie Oak's books (thus far) is that the sex has a point, there is romance involved, there is emotion attached. The sex is part of the story, and part of the development. Plus, as I said, it's hot (and often a little on the kinky side). In Three to Ride the main heroine, Rachel, is not naturally submissive and through her interactions with Rye and Max she is able to find her feisty, fun side, even in the bedroom.

For an erotic romance, this book is excellent, well deserving of a 5 star rating! With cowboys, quirky artists, and a woman on the run Three to Ride provides an fantastic setting for a fun, sexy, immensely enjoyable read and I highly recommend this book and the series. I myself and looking forward to book 2 in the series, Two to Love.

I am always wary of picking up a menage book with two males and one female making up the threesome because MM action still makes me cringe a bit and takes away some of the pleasure from my reading. So it was really nice to have found one that didn't require me to skip some pages. And the book delivered more than just a spicy menage a trois, too.

OMG.....What a start to a series.
Take the drop dead gorgeous Harper brothers, Max and Rye with a penance for protecting others and a brutalised woman running for her life and sparks are bound to fly.
Rachel doesn’t trust men after running from a violent stalker, but the chemistry between the characters is evident from the very beginning and totally believable even in light of Rachel’s past.

A beautifully well crafted story that I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have a problem with a menage story.
What makes this a great story is Sophie Oak's ability to create funny and lovable characters and she doesn't stop with the three main characters, but creates a whole community of quirky characters to breath life into the small town of Bliss. Despite the Meet to I Love You occurring in under 5 seconds, I enjoyed this book quite a bit but giving it anything above three stars wouldn't be right because this book is in serious need of an editor. The transitions from one point of view to another occurs rapidly, to the point that you aren't sure whose dialogue you are reading until after the paragraph is over. Plus, I think that LATHE (v. Nights in Bliss - absolutely my favourite ménage series. Max H. known also as the most irritating asshole in all Bliss is definitely my most favourite. His still mooing burger and his yells are epic. I love his friendship with Stef (especially their fight after bidding and night in guesthouse). This book was fantastic.The first chapter just grabbed me and as someone who has always feared the creepy date gone wrong, I really could put myself into her shoes. The story was so thrilling.

The sex is crazy hot, the heroine is someone you can really love and root for not some vapid bimbo like you get in some books.

This book came recommended to me by a friend in my book club. Sophie oak was our featured author for the month and I had never read any of her stuff. I could not be any happier. I was so sad to see the book end, but I couldn't put it down. I love Bliss, Colorado and I am ready to move it! What a quirky town. There are artists, nudists, conspiracy theory nut and a town who knows everyone’s business. No one thinks its weird the brothers share everything, its just the way it is. The owner of the diner is snarky just the way I like her. The best friends are loyal and even have their own quirks that I can’t wait to read more about in their own stories.

I got the honor of hearing Sophie Oak read from a different book in this series. Hearing her read her own story with inflections and accents had me ready to go out and buy all of her books. It was just crazy how all of these people don’t fit in a square box. They color outside the lines and we love them for it!

Most of all, I loved this book for how much fun I had reading it. I didn’t want to put it down. It helped that the sexy love scenes left me panting and I felt the agony of Rye being left out. It evoked so many emotions that had me grabbing the tissues and my credit card to buy the next book. Come join me in a quirky, but lovable town of Bliss, Colorado. It will be a fun ride!(less)
