I was in the mood for a spicy, fun and easy read and that is exactly what I got!

This is the first book about Bliss, Colorado. A sexual sanctuary, where all kinks are out in the open. I absolutely adored this quirky town and all its crazy inhabitants. I would recommend leaving your sense of reality behind, and dive into the spicy craziness of this series. I will definitely read on! It will be my go-to "relax my brain with some yummy book candy"-series.

Add a heroine on the run, two yummy identica...more

I LOVED this story. The interaction between the heroine and the twin, yes I said TWIN, hero's was great. There were so many times when I laughed out loud and actually snorted (I don't snort). The love scenes were HOT and there was a villian that was truly evil. The secondary characters were great too and I am going to start reading Callie's story now and hope soon there will be Stephan's story. I wanted this story to go on and on. I live in Colorado now and am ready to move to Bliss, Colorado.

4 1/2 stars! A fun, hot, emotional story set in the quirky town of Bliss.

This book sort of reminded me of the craziness on the classic show Green Acres, but with a lot of steam and nakedness. Max and Rye, twins with such different personalities but each one delicious in his own way. Rachel is strong, sassy, sexy and willing to take them both on. Wow!! Lots of laughs, great supporting characters and a little bit of suspense. I can't wait to go back to Bliss for another visit.

Okay...totally didn't know if I could handle this one. Ms. Oak has presented two delicious twin cowboys for us to fall head over heels for in this book. And these delicious twin cowboys like to share. (My husband is a twin...didn't know if it would be too much of an ick factor for me.)But I got an ARC copy in my hands and wasn't about to not read it, possible ewie factor be damned.

I was pleasantly surprised, as I was introduced to Max and Rye (short for Ryan) and really got to know them as peopl...more

One blind date later and a year of torment, Rachel Swift is on the run. After repeated efforts to keep her stalker at a distance she has no other recourse than to change her identity and flee.

A year later Rachel ends up in Bliss and she has caught the eye of town terror Max Harper. Max has a reputation for his temper, but when it comes to Rachel he has been on his best behavior. Growing up he had always planned to share a woman with his twin and town Sheriff Rye Harper, but after years of their...more

There is just something about the way Sophie Oak pulls a naughty story together that just gets me going! There are only so many story lines that an author can make up that make them seem unique, not just the same story with different characters. Although all of the stories I have read by this author have similar elements, they are just different enough that I can actually read them back to back without getting bored!

This one was about twin brothers searching for their perfect woman who will allo...more

loved it!!! I must say it's not often that I pick up an erotic romance that has a great story, spicy love scenes and quite a few LMAO moments. It was so good, I'm off to read book #2 in this series Two To Love.

As I’m just getting into the ménage erotica, I’m starting to get the feeling that authors think that only Colorado cowboys like to “share their toys”. Maybe they think they’re the only kind of guys that are man enough for the task, or they’re like me and firmly believe that a man in a good pair of wranglers and can ride a horse is just too sexy to pass up.

Whatever, the case I’m one satisfied reader. The identical twins Alex and Ryan are finger-licking good! Alex has a sour mean boy attitude that...more

I thought this book was so much fun to read, mostly because Max and Rye really didn't know what they were getting when they met Rachel. She didn't make things easy on them, but then again the guys didn't make things easy on themselves either.

I loved Rachel beating down on Max, with flowers he brought for her, in front of the whole town, because he did something stupid. I loved it more that Rye was there to see it and that is what tipped him over the edge. I also loved how when Rachel finally dec...more

Ms Oak moves the hot cowboy action from Texas to Colorado. I was hoping Trev, Beth, and Bo would be here since they were moving to Bliss, CO but they weren't.

I met a new set of characters who are also funny and endearing. I just love reading about small towns, because I'm born and raised in a city. The people are dedicated to the community, and Ms Oak gives character to them. Unlike other stories where authors bombard the reader with faceless characters, I could imagine the regulars here. When I...more

This book had the special distinction of being unrealistic and predictable all at the same time.

As Liz recovers from her stalker attack at the hospital, the police try to convince her to work with them to catch her stalker, who is a police officer. They vow to protect her. The doctor who treats her covers for her and lies to the cops, saying she'll be held for 48hours, but he is really trying to help her get out of town. A nurse shows up with a bag of clothes, complete with fake ids and some ad...more

SOPHIE OAK! You evil evil woman. I see how it is, tease me with a free hit and now I'm craving your bloody books like a heroin addict. Good lord woman, what is with these hot sex scenes? I've been hearing Sinful go on and on about Bliss. Who names a town Bliss? Then you fill it with these crazy lunatics. I tell my DH about the people in this town. He looks at me and says, "I bet it was founded by freaking hippies". I get to Founder's Day celebration and find out, the town IS founded by freaking...more

I've heard tons of talk about this series and while I definitely had a few issues with it, overall it was an enjoyable read and the sex scenes were well done and hot!

The basic plot is that Rachel is on the run from a stalker and ends up in the small artsy town of Bliss. People are super open and accepting there, which seemed nice. She meets Max and they end up hooking up, but she finds she's also interested in his twin brother Rye. Max and Rye prefer to share so it all works out for them in the...more

Monica's Review

Three to Ride by Sophie Oak is an inspiring book of how far strangers help to keep a defenseless woman safe, when no one could help her. Rachel is a beautiful young woman that has had terrible luck with a young man that has been stalking her. Rachel fears for her life and all she can think about is running far away, anything in order for him not to find her, and leave everything behind. Guys can be jerks sometimes. How can they think that after one date they own someone? Everyone...more

Bliss, Colorado...wow, what an idyllic setting for a menage! This is definitely a good one. Rachel is a spitfire...she does not take any crap from these two guys...and best yet, they LOVE that about her! She's very proud, very independent, and very strong. Max and Rye...oy. I'll take these two over the Falladay twins (Cameron and Chase from Wicked Pleasure and Only Pleasure) ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. I thought this plot was very good. Interesting how these girls always seem to start out as waitresses...more

Three to Ride by Sophie Oak

Nice start to a new series for me, what’ not to like with twin brothers…LOL

Favorite lines…

“Those big green eyes were even bigger than usual as she stared at the two of them. For a moment, she looked like a kid who’d found the last cupcake on the planet.”

“Max felt his eye twitching. He knew he should be yelling, but his limbs wouldn’t move. This was what it felt like to be paralyzed with rage. Yes, he was going to do it. He was going to finally go utterly psychotic and

Three to Ride is my second Sophie Oak book, and I am fast becoming a Sophie Oak fan. In Three to Ride, Rachel is on the run from a crazed, dangerous stalker. When she runs out of money on the run, she stops in Bliss, Colorado and takes a job as a waitress in the quirky, artistic town. The town is very open to those with unconventional lifestyles, including artists and nudists. Rachel is attracted and drawn to Max, a local horse trainer, and they soon develop a relationship. Rachel heard that Max...more

I am always wary of picking up a menage book with two males and one female making up the threesome because MM action still makes me cringe a bit and takes away some of the pleasure from my reading. So it was really nice to have found one that didn't require me to skip some pages. And the book delivered more than just a spicy menage a trois, too.

The humor was the chocolate icing on the already sinfully delicious erotic cake; the suspense was the hint of wine; and the erotic factor was the rich c...more

OMG.....What a start to a series.
Take the drop dead gorgeous Harper brothers, Max and Rye with a penance for protecting others and a brutalised woman running for her life and sparks are bound to fly.
Rachel doesn’t trust men after running from a violent stalker, but the chemistry between the characters is evident from the very beginning and totally believable even in light of Rachel’s past.
Sophie Oak provides enough sexual tension that you will be fidgeting in your seat, while fully on board wi...more

A beautifully well crafted story that I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have a problem with a menage story.
What makes this a great story is Sophie Oak's ability to create funny and lovable characters and she doesn't stop with the three main characters, but creates a whole community of quirky characters to breath life into the small town of Bliss. With nudists, a paranoid alien-abductee and a hen-mother ruling the local café the Harper brother's preference for sharing a woman doesn't seem...more

The first book of Sophie Oak's "Nights In Bliss" series takes place in the small town of Bliss, Colorado. Founded by nudists and hippies and full of misfits, Bliss is a very progressive town and they encourage everyone to be as wacky as they want.

In this story we meet twins Max and Rye Harper. Max and Rye have been two halves of a whole their entire lives until a broken engagement leaves them hurt and deciding not to share anymore., Max is the cranky, temperamental bear of the town...more

Despite the Meet to I Love You occurring in under 5 seconds, I enjoyed this book quite a bit but giving it anything above three stars wouldn't be right because this book is in serious need of an editor. The transitions from one point of view to another occurs rapidly, to the point that you aren't sure whose dialogue you are reading until after the paragraph is over. Plus, I think that LATHE (v. Lave) must be the house spelling for Siren. It's LAVE ladies. LATHE is tool that shapes wood, metal, p...more

Nights in Bliss - absolutely my favourite ménage series. Max H. known also as the most irritating asshole in all Bliss is definitely my most favourite. His still mooing burger and his yells are epic. I love his friendship with Stef (especially their fight after bidding and night in guesthouse). When I reached to shower scene with Ryan and Rachel, I couldn't stop from laughing :D it was hilarious! poor Rachel, such a mistake :D
And don't forget about Mel! :D

This book was fantastic. The first chapter just grabbed me and as someone who has always feared the creepy date gone wrong, I really could put myself into her shoes. The story was so thrilling.

The sex is crazy hot, the heroine is someone you can really love and root for not some vapid bimbo like you get in some books.

The best part about this book, though, is it introduces you to Bliss, Colorado. I am ready to move there now! A hedonistic, supporting community nestled in the mountains of CO fille...more

I'm usually not a fan of menages since it has never been my certain cup of tea... but this story is amazingly hot. The story definitely has it's perks and chemistry between the characters was off the charts! I'm actually looking forward to Stefan's story now since he was a rather interesting character from the very beginning, lol. For my first read by Sophie Oak, she certainly opened my eyes. Rachel, who even though has a stalker/killer after her, continues to maintain a bright and bubbly person...more

This book came recommended to me by a friend in my book club. Sophie oak was our featured author for the month and I had never read any of her stuff. I could not be any happier. I was so sad to see the book end, but I couldn't put it down. From the beautiful landscape of Bliss colorado to the hot cowboy this story delivered everything you could need in a book and then they just kept piling on the good. This is definatley a keeper pile kinda book and I'm getting the rest of the series today becau...more

This is a review of the series rather than the individual books. Other readers have done an excellent job of reviewing individual books. I'll just add a sentence or two about each book at the end of my review.

I was pleasantly surprised when I started this series. In fact, I enjoyed the Nights in Bliss series so much that I read the first six books back-to-back; something I rarely do because I typically become bored with a series if I do this. Oak did a great job of building the quirky, entertain...more

A lifetime devotee to the written word, Sophie published her first novel this year. Prior to becoming a novelist, she worked in theater and comic books. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and three precocious children, who wonder when mom is going to write a book they will be allowed to read. Her answer: probably never. Sophie believes in happy endings for everyone, no matter how extr...more

“I love you. That won't change because you tell me you don't love me. My love is not dependent on yours. It's just there, and I won't do anything to cut it out of my heart. It's what I've waited for all my life, and if you walk out that door, I'll go to my grave loving you, missing you, praying that you'll come back to me. I will never love another woman the way I love you. I will always be there for you. If you leave, know that my door is open. I will always be waiting for you to walk back through it.” 32 people liked it
“You’ve both quit your jobs for me,” Laura said, though a little of the sass had left her voice.

“I never liked it much anyway,” Cam said flippantly. “I was only there for the nookie, and when you walked away, that dried up.”
