Book was just ok. Just something to read. I guess from the reviews and book description I was expecting more. I cannot say I cared for the characters nor ever felt the h/h had a real personality. I felt like they had no chemistry outside of the bedroom. And with the lack of communication in their marriage I kept thinking "SAY WHAT YOU FEEL!". A marriage will not last without communication I don't care how much sexual chemistry is there. As the old saying goes "That regardless of how hot and stea ...more

It was so not long enough. I enjoyed reading it, and wished it was longer.
One of my FAVORITE guilty pleasures in romance novels, is “Reluctant Arrangements”. A woman desperately needs something from a man who happens to be wealthy and attractive, (it’s usually money to help out a loved one) and of course this man isn’t going to do it out of the goodness of his heart.. NO!!! What he wants in return is…. her.

Now, the feminist in me is appalled, but the naughty girl inside of me is like… “YES!”

I was interested in Delaney Diamond’s book “The Arrangement” because it has th

This book to me reminds me of a Harlequin Presents book with a little blackmail, loving, misunderstandings and money times x10 heighten. Leo is a wealthy business man whose wife lefted him for what he really doesn't know. Alexa is a ordinary woman who isn't impressed with Leo's money and just wants to connect, be held, loved and spend more time with him, without getting these things Alexa decides to leave Leo. After four months Alexa's brother has some money troubles and she is forced to ask the ...more

I liked this. If you seek a nice quick read, then The Arrangement it is.

When a couple who came from broken family, they tried really hard not to make the same mistakes like their parents did. While they're trying so hard, they didn't realize what they missed in their marriage. They didn't vocal about their love to each other. They just assumed from what they saw, jumped to conclusions.

I liked the idea, since this is a quick read, so I got a quick milestone from Alexa-Leonardo's story. I secretl
Marriage is ALL about communication...and this couple has none...well there was DEFINITELY lots of HOT/SPICY sexual communication...but can't build a lasting relationship on sex alone...glad they FINALLY got their "act" together.
A short, fun read! I enjoyed this book. I liked both Alexa and Leo. However, they both need to work on their communication skills and stop being so stubborn!

This is Book 1 of the "Hot Latin Men" series and of course, I read them out of order LOL!! I read "The Ultimate Merger" Book 3.5 and "Second Chances" Book 4 first. So now I will start reading the books the way they were meant to be read, in order *snickering*

Leonardo da Silva's wife Alexa da Silva left him 4 months ago, with nothing but the clothes on her back. Alexa didn't want anything materialistic because that isn't who she is. Alexa and her twin brother Xander were taught to work hard and t

This wasn't bad, it was just short, giving the impression that Leo and Alexa's story was not thoroughly fleshed out.

I loved Leonardo as a possessive alpha male. Being as proud as he was, instead of chasing his wife when she left him, he slyly went about getting her back, using her brother as a pawn.

Alexa I liked less due to her refusal to talk about her unhappiness with her husband. Your spouse is not a mind-reader. Not to mention the fact that everything he was doing business-wise was with his

Great Read

An interesting love story. Alexa and Leo are having problems in their marriage. Leo is a workaholic and Alexa feels neglected and unloved. She leaves him twice, they get back together after he finds out that she is pregnant.

I loved this 9 chapter book. It hooked me from the very first opening scene all the way to the epilogue. Let me tell ya, this story was hot and steamy! I loved all the sexual tension from the main characters Leonardo (a.k.a. Leo) and Alexa. Yeah, he was probably a controlling jerk but I found myself keep giving him passes. In fact, he was my favorite character. I enjoyed knowing that he was still in love with her (in fact never stopped) while she had her doubts. The whole time I rooted for them ...more

I was looking forward to reading this book, based on the book description. It didn’t disappoint.

Alexa and Leonardo didn’t seem to communicate in their marriage verbally. Where they didn’t seem to have a problem communicating was physically. I must say that Delaney Diamond did a great job translating the passion between these two into words.

It seems to me that the problem these two had is that they both struggled with inner issues that stemmed from watching their parents’ relationships sour. But

Delaney Diamond's The Arrangement tells the story of estranged couple Leonardo (Leo) and Alexa (Lexie) da Silva. For the sake of her brother's bakery, Lexie decides to go to her millionaire husband to ask for a business loan. Instead, Leo agrees to give her the money on one condition; Lexie must agree to move back in with him and resume their relationship for a specified time. Apprehensively, Lexie agrees to the arrangement. However, as the story unfurls, Lexie finds that she is more in love wit ...more

Description: With her beloved brother’s business at stake, Alexa has no choice but to ask her estranged husband, Brazilian business tycoon, Leonardo da Silva, for a loan. He agrees, but for a price: Alexa must resume her role as his wife for two months.

The Good: As glamorous as Leonardo and Alexa are, I love that their marriage is bogged down by the most common of problems: lack of communication. It made them feel like a very realistic couple. Leonardo is also very old-school alpha, so it’s grea

I gave the story three stars and not four, not because i didn't really enjoy what was happening. I was and I felt the author was a bit stingy. I enjoyed the characters and all. I like the fact that the hero was Brazilian, that made it more exciting. As mush as i like the plot and the story, there are two things I wished, which are:

1.I wish the book was a bit longer. I felt this is more of a novella than a novel. With an idea that great, I wish you would have made it longer for more things to hap

Let me first start by saying that I was tearing up non-stop throughout this book. It wasn't even sad tears or happy tears; I don't even know why I was crying, if I'm being honest. It was so... emotionally intriguing, I guess.
Anyways, I loved the way this book was written. The plot itself was very interesting and heartwarming. While a lot of the readers found the back-and-forth relationship between Leo and Alexa annoying, I loved it! I find love stories to be more interesting to read, especially

I loved this book from the beginning until the end. The storyline is very close to the "formula" used by Harlequin Presents authors. However, I didn't find myself bored with The Arrangement, and fell in love with Leonardo and Alexa.

She feels abandoned and neglected, and he thinks he's doing the right thing to maintain their lifestyle by putting in long hours at work. And of course, they have a communication problem. However, unlike their speaking skills, this couple can understand each other pr

Arrangement, yes!

Favorite. Book. Leo and Alexa are a couple who needed to communicate with one another. He thought one thing she felt another. I enjoyed their love. A love that they both had for one another. This shows that men and women are soooo different that it is so important to communicate! This book is worth the read and it is endearing. I've had this book for so long I didn't want to delete from my kindle. :-) enjoy!
I really enjoyed this book. The plot was predictable, but who cares. The characters were likable and they complemented each other. The heat level was pretty good and Leonardo was a serious alpha male, which I looove! The only issue I had was the fact that Alexa refused to tell her husband what was bothering her. There was a serious lack of communication, which made up the entire conflict . Other than that, this author has a new fan.

this is the first book by delaney diamond and she should be proud of herself. This is a story about the brazilian busnissman seeking to reconcile with his estranged wife.I really enjoyed the reading and was holding my breath all thru the story...the character's chemistry was amazing and the sexual tension was palpable.I was really rooting for them and hoping they would open up and tell each other how ther felt.Congrats to the author,I'm a fan.
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Diamond certainly pens a couple with classic communication issues. The man that feels he shows his love to his wife by the material things he can provide. The woman that seems to have no voice to state what she truly wants. So she then is just forced to just walk away.

I found the ride interesting and very open for more from Diamond.
I did like it but felt the story could have been more developed. The communication was an issue for me, but not much because it was the foundation for them having to end up in the 'arrangement' to begin with. I would have loved to see the actual journey into them getting back what they had instead of a quick wrap up, which is what I felt it was as a whole.
Fight for love

Communication is key to any relationship and without it, it will crumble. Delaney hit home the impact it had on Alexa and Leonardo's relationship. You have to evaluate what is important. Leo and Alexa couldn't keep running away from their problems. They needed to open up and fast their challenges. With the ups and downs, you see how The Arrangement comes together

I loved this short story.

I really liked how tasteful her. Sex scenes were. Just right. More story than sex. I wish she had added a little more romance. I felt his character could have shown a little more romance. I will be buying more from this author.

It was okay. The lack of communication was a little to drawn out for my taste.
It was a nice story, but I expected more communication to solve the issues. Why do people avoid speaking clearly about what's bothering them? No wonder the relationship falls apart...

I enjoyed reading this story. I think Alexander should have talked to him sooner. I loved Leo. He was sexy.

It was an OK read. Not enough passion, just a lot of drama. I could have been more passionate. Unimpressed.

“That was out of line.”
“No, it wasn’t, querida.” He smiled, the devastating smile she found irresistible. “You’re my wife, and you do have an amazing mouth.”
“Intuitively, she sensed Leonardo’s gaze on her, and she caught sight of him near the entrance to the balcony. He was watching her, though he should have been engrossed in the conversation with the two other people with whom he was standing, one of which was the redhead. Even from that distance across the room, she could sense his desire for her, and there was an answering pounding of the blood in her veins as their gazes locked.

Maybe it was the kiss between Russell and Joan and the romantic notion of long-lasting love, but Alexa found her thoughts straying to memories of sharing passionate kisses with Leonardo. She carefully placed her glass of wine on the table before it slipped from her damp fingers and crashed onto the expensive white carpet. She felt nervous and jittery because she knew the reason for Leonardo’s smoldering scrutiny. She was fully aware of what was expected of her, and she found herself breathlessly anticipating the end of the evening.”
