This book was a very quick read for me this semester. I enjoyed reading how Dan and Jess fall in love. I love the fact that Jess is always there for Dan and his 5 children when ever. From the start of the book I thought Dan would never find love after hs ex wife and all what she put him through. I reccommend this book to anyone who like love stories and a little drama.

This was an okay book. It is almost winter, the wood-stove is lit and warm and sometimes a book with no thought necessary is just what the doctor ordered and this certainly fits the bill. Jess is about to loose her house because of a scummy ex-husband who left her and her baby -- so she is walking the streets trying to drum up business as a daycare mom. She notices this handsome man in the park who looks stressed and she offers her aid and voila by the end of the book they are happily married. ...more

This book would have gotten 3/4 stars if the grammar and writing style had been different. But because of the way it was written it was almost too tedious to read.... but the characters made up for it, but it was a struggle to the end.. Bad editing and it was like the writer couldn't decide if it was in the 1st/3rd person or differentiate between a thought and spoken word...

Not the best romance novel out there, but certainly not the worst. About average, I'd say.
