This series keeps getting better with each book. I liked "Everafter" and really liked "Nevermore," but "nightrise" has me drooling for more. Alexa really blooms in this book, so much that you can almost see her panther's tail swishing when the character is irritated. The short version of the plot is that Alexa must save Valentine's soul and the two of them must save the fragile alliance between weres and vampires to keep world order. The story is well told. Sad to see the end of this series. Three well written book, but it feels as though this series has stopped before the end. So many in answered questions regarding many issues the couple faced.
I loved that this book gave more time and focus on Alexa. She definitely drove this story, which was an excellent read. I can't wait to read the next one!
In my opinion the weakest part in the trilogy. But still a good and enjoyable read!
