Since I am the author, it is hard to put into words my thoughts about When God Comes Near. This is a book that was painfully written while my 27 year-old daughter was dying from the rare and incurable disease called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. For sixteen months we cared for Megan in our home and I posted updates on the online website Carepages.com. The website generated visitors who followed the story not even knowing my child. After her death, I rewrote the story and turned it into a book.
