Atlas Shrugged is a real gift for us to understand better the organization of societies, the need to protect liberty, property, production and our minds. Altough I didn't like much the third volume because of all McGyver scenes, I realize it is more about the message, the philosophy behind the plot that actually matters. I totally recommend it.

I have no words to express the feelings I have right now. I just finished the book and believe me - it's huge! The characters, the setting, the plot, the speeches, oh, everything is wonderful!

If you want to know who and what is John Galt, to understand the interesting philosophy of Ayn Rand, to see how things go wrong when people refuse to think and act - this book is the right choice!

Atlas Shrugged is an absolute must-read! Don't waste time and start reading it! <3

Atlas Shrugged Part C is rather hackneyed and primitive ending compared to the good start in Part A.

It is my re-reading the book.
First time, 4 years ago, I admired the topic and idea, I tried to discover destroyers' intentions, and answer who is John Gald? Now I was enjoying dialogues - Ayn Rand is crackjack! I hope I'll have a chance to read the book one more time...in my old age :)
Some reviews said Atlas Shrugged keeps the 2nd place in the list of books which made impact on Americans per Library of US Congress poll. The first place holds The Bible.
Must read!

I am still reading this - it is very slow going, but there is so much detail! It is very good so far. I love the main character, Dagny, she is such a strong woman...
