Nonfiction Twin Text Entry #4

Concerned mainly with elephants in southern Mali, this book is an interesting introduction for kids to problems endangered species face: loss of habitat, changing migration patterns, etc.

Since elephants are my favorite animal, any elephant related story is always a slam dunk for me.

I recommend for any budding conservationist or kids who love animals.

This is a great informational book to learn all about elephants. You can learn all the parts of the elephants and how they communicate with each other, to how they migrate. Another great book to do a lesson on, I would love a whole book shelf of these in my classroom.
