(4.5 stars) Lots of interesting little tidbits on toddler development. Each page dealt with a different aspect of physical, emotional or intellectual development. I found it occasionally a little preachy about "good" parenting, but they photography is beautiful and it had some good stuff on how kids' brains work.

However, I really felt like Maddy does not fall into the average expectations for her age, and I'm not sure if that's a shortcoming of the book, or if Maddy's just different.
