With the recent release of "Stolen Magic", Evelyn M. Byrne accomplished what many authors do not successfully achieve....giving her readers a fantastic sequel! "Stolen Magic" is book two in the Daughter of Prophecy series. If you have read book #1, "Unknown Magic", then you will be thrilled to find the characters you love involved in another complex storyline with an intimate peek into the lives of the Tuatha De' Danann. But a brand new fan of the series will not feel cheated as Ms. Byrnes capti...more
Another fantastic read by Evelyn Byrne. The only reason that I didn’t give Stolen Magic five stars is that I’m not sure how well it appeals to other readers of other genres. The second installment of this fantastic story continues developing characters that readers will truly love or hate. The main character has become a strong woman without the waffling baggage that many authors give to their characters. The story continues with fast paced drama that refuses to let go and will keep readers awak...more
I enjoyed this as much as I did the first one and once again zipped through it and am anxiously awaiting next installment. If I were to say anything negative, it would only be that I noticed in this one a little more repeating of what just went on like trying to catch up reader in case they forgot, but to me it seemed that I just read this and didn't need the catch-up synopsis.
This is book 2 of the series, A Daughter of Prophecy. It continues the story of Megan and Seamus, and the danger to the Tuatha De Danann, this time including the mating of Patrick and his little wolf, Brenna. The series is really interesting, and it is a shame that it hasn't been edited properly. But the story is engrossing, and I hope I can find book #3.
