Though she wants to use her ‘gifts’ for good, detective work burned Leah Wolfe out, leading her into retirement early. Between her former fiancé and her adopted father, Leah can’t completely walk away, especially when paranormal women sta

A very nice beginning for a new series. The story reminds me of Anita Blake but also gives a lot of reference to the Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory. This is a nice refreshing twist because though there a plenty of female vampires, I haven't heard mention of any of them referring to the one lady "thought" in history to be the closest thing to a vampire, though there is plenty of talk of Vlad.

All the compontents are here for what is needed in a good. Book there is the star of the book Leah who r

I very much enjoyed the characters interplay in the book. The lead character Ms. Wolfe is an interesting one. and I will be reading the nest in the series. I guess the reason for three stars is that the main character is a little inconsistent to me. Granted she is going through a lot but from being smart and knowing she does not know enough to ignoring things from people she is aware of as being more informed. By the end of the book I know she was being played somewhat but some of her decisions ...more

I’m not sure where to even begin with this, but just imagine watching an awesome paranormal movie in high-def… that was my experience while reading this book. Every single setting and character was crystal clear to picture without all of the overwhelming, unnecessary details. Danger combined with sexy, mysterious men, will leave you panting all the way to the end.

Leah Wolfe is the perfect model of an independent, strong-willed woman and someone (although fictional) I very much admire. After ever

It just wasn't my cup of tea. I didn't connect with these characters - at all. I love strong women, really I do, I just don't like them when they are overly abrasive, and prideful in their strength to the point that it honestly leaves them open and more vulnerable than before. Leah was just too prickly for me, and indecisive - one minute she's trusting Ian with her life and in the very next second she's screaming at him in distrust and then in the next second she's thinking about getting him nak ...more

It took longer than I wanted to get started on this book but, Once I got in the flow of things and was able to sit down I am pleased to say that the book did not disappoint me in the slightest. It was fast paced and kept the thrill in it. As well it kept you guessing and trying to figure things out the suspense was well worth it and just when things seemed to die down or have a moment of silence you were thrust back in full force with a turn of thrill in the story and an arch that took you on a ...more

I was given this book for an honest review and my honest thoughts, so here goes...

Okay, first - I will state that this is book comes in under 200 pages. To give you a "realization" of how short/long this book is. You never judge a book by its cover (as a friend reminded me a while back) nor do you judge it by the pages... But just wanted you to know... Okay, review time....

OMFG!!!!!!!!Seriously... OMFG!!!!!This BOOK IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This woman is the bomb!!!!!!!!

Wow! I really loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series. Ms. Print is a very talented author who writes impeccably. I was immediately drawn in and felt all of Leah's emotions. I couldn't imagine going through what she went through. I can't wait to read the rest of this series!

I made it 70 pages in before giving up on this one. While reading this I couldn't seem to quit comparing this book to the Anita Blake books, so many of the actions and even some phrases were almost the same. I also had a hard time believing the romance. Leah meets Ian at a crime scene, meets him the next night to talk, calls her my love, the next day they are dating, the day after that she is introducing him around as her boyfriend. Even in the fictional world that seems to move very fast. This ...more

A great new addition to the paranormal romance world! Filled with plenty of action, humor and the perfect dose of romance, Nightwalker will capture you and keep you turning the pages in suspense. Fans of strong heroines such as The Hollow’s Rachel Morgan and Cat of the Night Huntress books will love Leah Wolfe!
