If you're starting from 0 with pre/I/II diabetes, this is an excellent place to start. Rubin's information is clear, concise, and light, which is a relief when you first face a lifestyle altering condition.

There's a lot of information to absorb, but like may of the so-called "Dummies" books (such a misnomer for what they provide) Prediabetes walks you through the concepts and makes more advanced books intelligible. Worth the dollars if you're starting out.

This is an excellent starting point for prediabetes and what to do with it. good solid recommendations and no nonsense talk. Yes to a more knowledgeable person some things are obvious but anyone confused about eating and e exercise should start here. It offers healthy plans for anyone, not jist diabetic or pre diabetics.

Good information, but it kinda pissed me off saying that if you are obese it is unlikely that you will ever be thin. kick rocks, dude.

Answers many questions. The key, of course, is exercise and moderate eating. Do-able.
