When I first met Wren earlier in the series, I had no idea that I'd fall in love with him so completely as I did. I can't even explain what a wonderful, caring man he is and my heart aches for him and his awful past. I loved how he was with Maggie (he did some quite adorable things for her!) and she was truly perfect for him. Even I was quite mad at the Fates for a time there...

Unleash the Night is definitely one of the sweetest stories in the series and definitely a new favorite! I already want...more

‘Unleash the Night’ is a really great Were-Hunter story. I enjoyed the plot very much, as well as the high quality writing. It was simply unputdownable. You have the reader’s privilege to know everything, and it is great. I like to be informed. Cleverly measured tension, great suspense and worrisome conflicts, heartbreaking past, amazing secondary characters, and emotional, intimate, but also steamy erotic scenes.

The main characters, their emotions, backgrounds, and motivations are...more

Wren. Oh Wren. The abandoned, misunderstood, but oh-so-hot Tigard (that would be a cross between a Tiger and a Leopard). Actually he’s a were-Tigard which makes him part human as well. Whatever… he’s achingly gorgeous, and a bit of a loose cannon but at the same time is absolutely swoony with a very gentle soul. Keeping to himself since the death of his parents, he has essentially removed himself from the world, and has an innocence about him that is just irresistible!

Maggie was a great match f...more

I loved Wren and Maggie! Wren had my heart from the beginning, poor, misunderstood, sweetheart that he is and Maggie who never judged him when so many others did. The storyline was exciting and full of action with convoluted time travel elements that prevented me from putting it down! The ending was fantastic and I liked how their mating played out, Fates be damned!!

Every time I pick up a Sherrilyn Kenyon book, I know I'll be doing nothing that day as I get lost in her amazing world of sexy, swoonworthy heroes and sassy, quick-witted, fierce heroines. I'm usually a little like this...

And I'M NEVER DISAPPOINTED!

I devoured Wren and Maggie's book and now that I'm done, I'm so sad it's over. I don't know what it is about the Dark Hunter Universe, but I was hooked from the very beginning and each book get better even when it seems impossible.

One of my top and favourite Dark-Hunter books. I just love how it started, my favourite line from the first page:

“Life is a soul-sucking test that you either survive or fail. Personally I think failure blows, so I intend to survive and laugh my ass off at all the losers”.

Marguerite didn’t match her snooty lifestyle that she lived; she’s down to earth and makes her own mind-up based on her moral compass, she’s strong. Wren and Marguerite had an instant connection and when walking home from the ba...more

My daughter brought this book out to me and told me I had to read it. It looked interesting and somehow familiar so I picked it up and started reading on Friday. I finished on Sunday. About a quarter of the way through I realized I'd already read it once before, but I couldn't stop. It was soooo goood!!!!!
I put Kenyon away for awhile. Don't ask me why. I don't know what madness possessed me. She is the Queen of adult paranormal romance. I of course now have to continue reading the ones I missed....more

True to Sherrilyn Kenyon’s ways, we have another tortured hero who seems to have a heart of gold! Wren Tigarian is probably the most sweetest, gentlest soul of the bunch and there was something about him that made me want to curl up and hug him. As I read UNLEASH THE NIGHT, I became so attached to Wren that I felt that if anyone threatened him, I would definitely rip them a new one. He has become my baby.

I won’t go into a ton of details about the plot but Wren is a Tiga...more

Unleash The Night features Wren's story- a character we met briefly before in another of her novels but I can't think which. Wren, a forbidden mix of white tiger and snow leopard in Kenyon's Were-Hunter world, is silent and brooding and perfectly yummy. I fell for him instantly and, combined with the heroine, Marguerite, the book is a sure keeper.

I like Maggie, a girl from the world of wealthy politicians minus the snooty attitude. She fell for Wren at first sight and that made me like her even...more

Bem, ainda não tinha tido oportunidade de comentar o livro Unleash The Night.

Gostei. O Wren tocou-me o coração!

Wren is Tigard, a rare mix of white tiger and snow leopard, and for his entire life he has been treated as an abomination by both sides of his family. He has lived at Sanctuary since the viscous murder of his parents when he was a child but although the Peltier family have allowed him into their home they have never fully trusted him. Wren has spent his entire life being looked down on and feared so it's no wonder he chooses to keep himself to himself and avoids contact with others as much as po...more

Admittedly, it's been some time since I was reading the Dark Hunter series, and they are well written to allow the reader the ability of chopping and changing, more freedom with the series. Although they aren't so gripping that you are just dying to get to the next one.

Wren Tigarian is a Tigard, which basically means he is half snow leopard and half white tiger, with a splash of gorgeous blonde male mixed in. He's a hybrid, and a freak in this Were-Hunter world, temperamental and...more

I went into this book thinking that I wasn't going to like it at all. Wren isn't a character that we've connected w/ in previous books and I just wanted to read it because it was the next in the series.

OMG! That will teach me to NEVER do that again! Next to Vanes book, THIS is my 2nd favorite in the series (that I've read so far) and guess what? Acheron is NO WHERE in this book!!! Yep............it's true. No daimons either. Instead we get Savitar! He's equally as powerful and mysterious and can...more

Okay, so Wren! He was so much sexier than I thought he was going to be!

Characters:
Maggie: I really like her as a heroine. She is a nice person, not full of herself or anything, being a senator's daughter, but she is a little self-pitying and she is weak when it came to her father. But I enjoyed reading about her and actually cared for her. She works really with Wren, and the two of them balance each other out nicely. They have real spark from the very first moment they meet.

Wren is awesome. He...more

I think I am in the minority of SK fans when I say that this is my favorite of her books! I liked how there was a sweet love story and it wasn't full of awful imagery of someone having had a crappy life and feeling that he doesn't deserve better. Yes, Wren did have a rough life, but he was able to make the past all better so to speak. I was so disappointed with Ash's book haveing something like 500 pages of him being beaten or raped or degraded, so when it came time for his HEA, I expected more,...more

Wren is a shifter who is part white tiger and part snow leopard. He's had a miserable childhood and has grown up into a very antisocial young man. He lives with the bear clan in Sanctuary as a busboy and tries to stay away from everyone as much as possible... until he meets Marguerite. Marguerite is a senator's daughter who's life has pretty much been controlled by her father. She feels unhappy and lonely and would love to be able to break free from her father's control. Wren and Marguerite meet...more

Wren is silent but deadly, keeps to himself always and most weres are scared of him. But when Maggie comes to Sanctuary he is instantly drawn to her, and she's not scared of him. They fall for each other but other weres are out to kill him because someone has accused him of killing his parents and them being together seems doomed to fail. To save his life in the present, they both go back to the past to find proof he didn't kill anyone. They clear his name, we meet the Omegrion, Maggie gets a pr...more

I started this book yesterday but I was able to read a little of it and set it down thinking it is good but not near as good as the first part of the series. This morning I picked it back up with intentions of reading a little and putting it down so I could do some house work and laundry. Well, here it is at 6 pm and no laundry got done and the house is still a wreck but I finished my book!

Wren is a loner, outcast, an undesirable and a disgusting hybrid because he is both leopard and tiger. He w...more

Wren Tigarian, a Katagaria Were-Hunter, half white tiger and half snow leopard, making him an outcast on both sides his family and the Were world. Lived and raised at Sanctuary Wren, has never trusted anyone. As he works as a bus boy never to draw any notice to himself and his only friend is Marvin which is a monkey that is until Marguerite D'Aubert Goudeau comes into Sanctuary with her snobby friends.

Marguerite’s father is a congressman and wants his daughter to socialize only with those that...more

Oh, Wren. I've been looking forward to you and your dreadlocks since the day I caught you playing pool with Nick at Sanctuary. It's no surprise to anyone who knows me that I have this thing for the pained, quiet ones sitting alone. I want to know what hurts. And when they're as pretty as Wren? The shallow girl in my that loves pretty boys stands up and shouts.

Maggie got on my nerves though. At first, at first, but still. It's hard to get on the rich girl train. Her friends were snots. She KEPT...more

Achei deliciosa a sua quase inocência perante certos assuntos, ele estava tão habitu...more

Definitely another favorite for me in this series. I liked the last book a lot, but I loved this one. I loved seeing Wren finally come out of his shell and Maggie was really good for him. Wren is such a sweetie. I really liked getting to know him better.

Wren had one hell of a childhood, but with Maggie at his side, he was able to show everyone that he isn't just a walking time bomb. He even got to learn something incredible and was able to make amends with his father. I really liked those scenes...more
