I think this is my favorite of the cyborg seduction series so far. The emotional punch of the story was the strongest yet. There was some serious angst/pathos here. Megan is already enthralled with Ice before the story begins so there isn't any question of Stockholm syndrome. (All of the stories in this series so far have involved captured Earth women in one way or another). Even though Megan is not a real kick butt heroine, neither is she a wimp. Every girl should have a cyborg boyfriend like Ice, hot and sexy and willing to die in battle for you. Ice is part of a cyborg group of warriors roaming the universe. Hot sex with an intelligent story. I enjoyed it. 4 ½ stars to the first half, 3 stars to the last half.

Meagan is a programmer on a sex bot station isolated from everyone. She see Ice as a customer through the security cameras and is attracted to her. When a spaceship crashes into the station, she seeks passage on Ice's ship. She pretends to be a sex bot because she knows that the cyborgs were supposed to have destroyed and they might kill her if she's human. She fools them for about 5 minutes. I love Dohner's Cyborg series and the world she's built in them. It's fascinating and tragic which is a very good combo to throw a romance into. In particular I always liked how alpha the cyborg men are - except with their own women (you'll have to read the series to find out why that is). Ice in past books was just as domineering as the others (Flint, Steel, etc) but in this one I found Megan to be just too bossy with him. Ice has been my favorite so far. We got to see some of the male POV and I think that might be why. He was the most agreeable about the whole ending up with a human scenario. I like him a lot!!!!!
The only issue I am having with this books, is that NONE of the human females met one another. In the New Species books they have interactions. I would like to see them have some bonding. They are suck in testosterone world with all these males all the time, I think they need the break of having moments...more

We're finally getting to truly see how the Cyborg society works and what that means for our heroes. It can't be easy knowing you are obligated to breed but in most case will have no rights to any children created. For Ice that was a major issue and explained his response to Megan and his determination to keep things unemotional. Despite this, you know right away he's emotionally involved (the big softy!)

yeah. i think i'm a bit weird. love the premise of this series. cyborgs. big, gigantic men with big, gigantic penises. human women - some brash, some wimpy, all soon consumed with the need to have sex with aforementioned big, gigantic penises.

Megan works as the only mechanic/manager at the automated whore house in space when disaster strikes, a drunken space ship crashes right into them and the only place for her to rescue herself is to join a group of sex bots being saved by a ship crewed by Cyborgs.
Trying not to be seen, she hides as one of the bots, not knowing that Cyborgs already spotted the human in the crowd.

Loved the book and Ice's character. Liked the story more than the sex in the story. Yes there is sex but I would still like the book without the sex in it. The addition of the new threat in this universe was interesting. I really wanted to know what happened to Coal. Sky was pretty funny too. There are brief interactions with the previous Cyborgs but they are just mentioned in passing nothing is really added about their story.

4 1/2 stars This is book four in The Cyborg series and it is very apparent that we can count on Laurann to give us not only a great story but an original story with another hot hero. Megan has watched Ice for months in her closed off room were she monitors the BOTS and the clients. My reviews are more copy/paste for this series.. I am down with the first 4 and they are all pretty good.. On the shorter side and have rush endings.. The sex scenes are starting to get dull. They feel very repetitive and i just dont feel half of the by the end..
The reason I continue to give 4 stars is because I really do enjoy the world of the cyborgs.. I learn a little more with each installment and that keeps me reading..

Yeah,yeah,yeah,poor him,blah blah. That is the point blah blah.
But it,just,is,not,sexy!!!
Other then that the book is super!

Ice likes his care free lifestyle, boy does that change when Megan enters his life. Posing as a Sexbot...let's just say that he discovers it isn't so bad to be chained (literally). I really like this series, the stories are fast paced and interesting..the sex scenes are very hot and the male leads are YUMMY...what's not to love!
Megan is rescued when cyborgs find a distressed pleasureship carrying sex robots. As the only human programmer on the ship, she is willing to do anything in this human unfriendly world, to capture the attention and protection of tall gray and sexy.

I really liked Ice and Meagan's story- actually I've liked Ice since we met him in "Burning Flint" and saw a bit of his phobia in "Melting Iron". I will admit that the Female Sex Bots kinda freaked me out.... I just couldn't get past the fact they were machines, like a souped up blow-up doll... while it creeped me out I found myself laughing about it to.
Another great read by Laurann Dohner. Great characters, lots of sexual tension and a bit of erotic play. All this added to an action packed story line and I am already ordering the next book in this series. Ms Dohner does NOT disappoint!!

man it was so cute i really like ice she is so cte and sexy. I really liked the story at the start it was so funny and scary i felt so sorry for her. But the best part knowing Zorus was going to learn his leason soon =)
3.5 stars (rounded up to 4 stars because this book's plot is much better than the previous books' which received "only" 3 stars from dear me, myself and Dina)

This series is getting better!!! I LOVED ICE! I loved the story of him & Megan, it was funny, sweet & oh-so-steamy! I'm officially addicted to this series :)

It was nice, as I think most of Dohner's books are (that I've read so far). The one big problem is the crap dialogue...there's too much of it sometimes, and then what they say, the 'romantic' stuff, is ridiculous mostly. But I like the idea and the characters, so it's worth it for me. Oh, the sex is good! For me, anyway.
I'm loving this series more and more. Bring on the next one!
