I liked this one a lot! I loved how the heroine, Shanna, wouldn't go down with out a fight! Usually I'm not a fan of the 'kick-ass' heroine, but I found Shanna very relatable! I have really enjoyed this whole series. I LOVE the super alpha growling possessive hero's!!! I hope this series continues!
the story's ok and what you expect. don't look for character development or complex characterization. the heroine falls in love within hours of meeting the hero. i understand we need to accelerate the relationship so we can get right to the whoopie, but c'mon. could they at least have 3 separate conversations before we're thrust into undying, jealous love?

so far, i think Ral's Woman is the best of this series because Ariel was the least annoying of the women. Shanna starts off ok - street tough...more

Very pleasantly surprised after I really disliked the 3rd in the series. If I hadn't already purchased this I might not have gone back to this series and that would have been a shame. Much better plotting. Good characterization. Even though the action happened over just a few days, the emotions seemed real. Berr was so unhappy in his marriage that he was ripe for a relationship with a decent woman. And I believed in her feelings for him because he was such a great guy, decent honorable and hot,...more
I haven't been too impressed with the last two books from this series but decided to finally read it based on the high ratings on a lot of listopia polls. I really wasn't expecting much as Hyvin Berrr, the hero in this book, wasn't a fav character of mine in previous books. Cons in wanting to read this book including he was the father of the previous book characters and staid rigid leader of the Zorn warriors with an intense dislike of Earth women mating with his sons. Pros once I did read this...more
This was another great addition to the Zorn Warriors series. I absolutely loved it! Berrr was an amazing hero. I loved that he constantly did what was necessary to keep Shanna feeling secure and safe. If he didn't understand something in how humans thought or what they needed, he would consult with one of his sons and their wives. This was not fraught with constant misunderstandings and conflict between the H/H. Once they really accepted each other, it was just a matter of getting the rest of th...more

I absolutely LOVED this series. I started reading it two days ago and went on a marathon of reading all books available. I checked the author's site and there looks to be more books to be added! I hope the next book is on Vhon, the youngest brother, and the following is on Coto, Rever's bestie and almost-adopted like son to Berr.

My favorite of the series, would still have to be Book One, "Ral's Woman", though. It was the most interesting and kept me wanting more. I think what sold me was the beg...more
Sammy, Halloween Monster Sex Guru

Hyvin Berrr is the leader of the Zorn Warriors. Though he has watched his sons fall in love with human women, he is a man that has never known love. His wife hates him and her only motivation in life is to cause him pain since he killed her one true love.

Shanna has been kidnapped by aliens to be sold as a love slave. Though she is rescued by Zorn warriors, she learns that she will not be returned to Earth and will never see home again. Shauna became one of my all time favorite heroines because s...more

If you haven’t been reading the Zorn Warrior series by Laurann Dohner, run and go get them right now. I’ll wait. Okay. They are so well written. Dohner is clearly a master at her craft. She seamlessly weaves together science fiction with the erotic in such a way that you don’t even realize what she’s done, which is to create a truly unique world that is so good you wish you could live in it.

Hyvin Berrr, leader of the Zorn Warriors, isn’t thrilled that three of his sons have Bond...more

Finished this one yesterday.... I'm glad to say that by the end of the series I was really into these books... The writing is still very (????), but I like the characters as long as you don't go outside the box of this is a book because I'm sorry kidnapped by aliens I'd be more like the woman in this book than any other.... fight or kill me. I do find it amusing that the women are still very ... let's just say this book is not about the diversity of the human population. I'd love to see a comput...more

4.5 stars. This book by far for me was real good. Finally the Father, how curious he was about the human females. Well he finally met his match "Shanna", he wanted her from the moment in that alley, but he couldn't because he was mound to an evil wench, that was looking for revenge. Oh how he wanted to try every memorable encounter with her. Love the challenge between Arwin and Shanna. Loved how Berr was standing behind Shanna and wanted her to have his children. Shanna went through hell from fo...more

I loved this one as well, the first couple books were good and I enjoyed them but the last 2 were just awesome:)
I didnt think I really liked Berrr all that much until this book, and I loved Shana and the fact no matter what she stayed strong and never gave up!

Its safe to say that Laurann Dohner is one of my favorite authors!
I really liked this one. This author has a thing about kicking a girl in the crotch that I find waaaaaaay too funny. LOL.
Future Slayer Girl (aka: kitten)

I want the other brothers to get men though! She's going to finish this right?

4.5 Vowing Stars

Berrr’s Vow is book 4 in the Zorn Warriors series. We are taken back to Zorn were Warrior’s want human women to bound with; because they can fulfill all there sexual needs. Zorn is a planet with a high sex drive and if the men don’t have sex they die. How they manage to get any work done amazes me. If you have read the other books in this series then you understand the laws that govern Zorn and the Warrior men as well as the hierarchy structure. I have to say Berrr's Vow is the...more
4.5 stars. If I pull another re-read I might have to up that.

(I adore this series!!!)

Burr is the father to the warriors in the previous books. He was the jerk responsible for having Ral & Ariel's sexual encounter monitored (video taped) - which was broadcast on the Zorn version of the internet. This was SO motivating to the Zorn warriors, many of them decided they wanted a human mate.
So in essence, Burr is responsible for human women being so sought after on Zorn, and kidnapped and sold on t...more
I think this was my favorite, book one and four. But all in the series were good I want more......

This book is funny, sad and scary at the same time.

Berrr is the king of the planet Zorn, he has found Collis aliens selling humans they kidnapped the passes law that it is illegal to sell humans and places the collit in jail...

but one human is left that was not sold since she is a fighter... SHANNA and the men there with Berrr 'at his service' like police are fighting over her..... she does not want...more

This is by far my favorite of the Zorn Warrior books. The father of the 3 previous brothers that I’ve read has finally met a human that he wants. I think what I loved most about Berrr falling for a human was his initial reactions to his sons taking a human female as a mate. He has always seen any female as weak, he believes human females are even weaker. He even feels that they will weaken his royal/elite bloodline when his sons start having children. Oh yes, karma found Berrr.

Shanna has had a r...more
I could almost give it five stars, something wasn't quite there. Anyway, I was reluctant to read this, I mean come on aliens? It sounded a little weird and then at the beginning the description of the aliens who had abducted her, I'm like gross, but then the Zorn warriors show up and and now you got ripped gorgeous men. Shanna's immediate flip flop from being ready to tear anyone a new one to, Berrr you like my neck? Was very fast. Of course anyone would want to jump Berrr's bones and Shanna wan...more
Shabby Girl ~ aka Lady Victoria
I can't help myself, I really like these books. I look forward to the next ones coming out, although unfortunately it seems the author is concentrating on the cyborg series (which I won't read as the first one, Burning Flint, was my pick for worst book I read in 2010 - horrible, horrible, horrible hero).

I've loved all the Zorn warrior books, but I think so far this is my favourite. I wasn't particularly looking forward to Berrr's book, I sort of thought it would be a bit of a boring one since he...more
4 1/2 starsThis is book four in the Zorn Warriors series, and in this book we get Berr's story(who is the father of the previous books H's). Shanna was kidnaped from earth and was about to be sold till Berr found out and stopped it. Frightened Shanna doesn't want to go with anyone but Berr, and Berr agrees deciding that she can be a house help. But Shanna has no idea what a house helper is and what their job entails from here a misunderstanding threatens to force them apart just as their feeling...more
Meh. Once again, we see the native females both portrayed in a negative light, and forced out of their home by a human woman.

So the h is kidnapped by a related humanoid species from another planet and taken to Zorn to be sold as a sex slave. Only, the leader of the planet immediately banned the keeping of earthling females as slaves - marry them or else. Which would be fine except that the h latches on to him and he just happens to be already married. Uhhh... So eventually, the h confronts his w...more

Overall: Kick Ass to the Max!! This book was able to grab me right from the beginning and it kept me reeling and feeling all the way to the end. I had moments of blushing, to that all out sickening feeling. This book was an adventure that was so unforgettable, especially with this series. Ms. Dohner has a way of describing situations, people and surroundings so that you feel as if you were right there or maybe even watching a movie in your head. Brenda's character was such a badass and...more

Whenever I want to read a steamy sci-fi story with sexy heroes and feisty heroines, I know I can turn to Laurann Dohner. Her stories never fail to keep me entertained from beginning to end. The latest installment of her Zorn Warriors series, Berrr’s Vow, is no different.

Berrr’s Vow has everything erotic romance fanatics crave. Aside from the obvious heat, there is also a lot of emotion and conflict. After the heroine, Shanna, is abducted from earth and taken to Zorn, she is uncertain of what aw...more

Berrr’s Vow by Laurann Dohner is a highly enjoyable read and a fantastic addition to the Zorn Warriors series. The characters endear themselves to you quickly. Berrr makes a wonderful hero. He wants Shanna and does everything in his power to make her stay with him. He is a tough warrior but with Shanna he is considerate, understanding and very protective. Berrr goes out of his way to make her comfortable. Shanna is a female character to love. She is tough and doesn’t hesitate to stand up for her...more

Another great addition to the Zorn Warrior's series. One thing that I really enjoyed was how kick ass Shanna was. Most of Laurann Dohner's heroines are awesome but tend to be soft, gentle and a bit submissive. Shanna didn't take no shit from anyone especially Berrr and I loved it. You go girl.

Hope to get more books in this series...there is still Vhon who is single (hint hint).
3 stars

I liked the plot. The main characters are not bad too especially heroine. Loved that she's a badass. Other characters are fine too. I know this is erotica but repetitive made me bored. So I only read one steamy scene, the rest I skipped. A few scenes similar with previous book too. That I didn't really like. I was hope for something different. Overall, Berrr's Vow was good.

Dear author, please don't end this series. Give me more Zorn warriors and I'm requesting Vhon, Vinlotti and Volder. I...more
Another great Zorn Warrior's book. Since Berrr already had a bound I was worried about cheating as that's a big turn off for me but luckily the woman was a psycho and they were separated already.

I really loved Berrr, he's so sweet and protective. Like the other Zorn Warriors, anyone would be lucky to have him.

I found it irritating that the m/c refused to listen to Berrr even after he'd repeatedly assured her of his love. Instead of talking to him like a normal person, she went in a major huff o...more
The leader of the Zorn Warrior´s, Hyvin Berrr, rescues Shanna when she´s kidnapped and about to be sold as slave.
Berrr is already bound to the mother of his children, but it´s just a bonding in name, for her to shame him.
Shanna is a tough human who doesn´t back down to anything and she´ll need it, living in his house.
Glad to see a HEA for Berrr, he´s been putting up with a lot these last three books not to mention being bound to that harpy. Lots of smexin, alpha males and a kick ass chick. 3,5...more

I had a rather short area here telling a little about me but then I had more than a few people ask me to expand it so... here goes. LOL. I'm a full time home 'supervisor' which is a nice word for saying I'm a housewife. I'm married happily, I met my dream guy 20 years ago, and we have 4 children. I live in Southern California and I can't function without iced coffee. I believe in romance, I've alw...more
