Yes, I am.
Baba is a little bit lazy at the moment. Therefore, I won't be writing a long and in-depth review.
First of all let me say that I really liked the premise of Damaged Goods. Suspense combined with BDSM is very interesting. Ultimately, though, I had expected better of it and I ended up disappointed. That said, I continuously dropped my rating. In the end I decided to downgrade it to 2 stars when I hit the 90 % mark. Honestly, this was such a huge bummer...more

Oh man I really loved the hot & steamy book 1, Table for Three! I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2 thinking that it would be just as good if not better. But I have to say that I'm surprisingly let down that it didn't live up to my expectations. I like the author and...more

It’s been so long since I’ve read Table For Three that I couldn’t even remember most of it. I was a little worried when I picked up Damaged Goods that I wouldn’t be able to follow the story without a reread of book 1 first. Well, I am happy to say that wasn’t the case. Lainey Reese did an excellent job of writing this novel, especially with such a time gap between releases. You could easily read book 2 as a stand-alone.
I remember liking the first book (which is why I read this one) but Damaged G...more

It seems like I’ve been waiting forever for this book. When I read Lainey Reese’s debut book, A Table for Three, I very much enjoyed it. I loved watching Cade and Trevor convince Riley to enjoy herself with them, the sex scenes were beyond explosive but it was the scene with Cade’s cousin, Brice that caught my attention. There was just something about Brice that hooked me and I knew, just knew that his book was going to be beyond amazing. I am pleased to...more

Holy Effing Hell! Can we say HOT! This book is on fire! Like go change your panties on fire! I've read a few books with the BDSM theme to them, I've also read a few books with m/f/m situations, so I wasn't expecting this one to shock me, so to speak, buuuuttt it did! First lets talk about the sex.... ok I don't even know where to begin without maybe giving too much personal info up but it was fucking hot! I am not a sub, nor have I tried that lifestyle, but this book has put thoughts in my head...more

.5 is for the guy on the cover that I would kidnap and chain to my bed if I could. ;-)
3.0 for the strength of the story aside from the smex scenes. I was bouncing from suspecting 4 different characters, which is a good thing, IMHO.
I just had much more trouble liking this story than 'Table for Three'. I had no problem walking away and doing something else, which means I'm not all that invested.

I loved this second book in the New York series. Damaged Goods is about Brice, the gorgeous Homicide Detective who we met in book #1 ‘A Table for Three’.
This was another erotic indulgence set in the BDSM scene but we had some serious suspense in this one with a serial killer on the loose. I actually thought the suspense plot was so much better in this story than book #1 and was really well written. It actually kept me guessing and it was woven into the romance really well and drawn out perfectly...more

Dominance. Submission. Murder. And that’s just before lunch.
The second book in Lainey Reese’s New York series and it’s another wickedly erotic sizzler!!
We all know that good Doms are really hard to find and no submissive should ever go off with a dominant in the way that the characters in Lainey Reese’s books do but this is fiction and the heroes would lay down their lives to protect their subs so the girls are never really in any danger, so suspend your disbelief, go with the flow and enjoy an...more
The second story in this series involves Brice Marshall, cousin of Cade Marshall who was introduced in the first book. Brice is a New York police detective and is also a Dom. He meets Terryn Keller at Cade’s BDSM club but soon figures out that she’s new to the scene and is just beginning her exploration. Meanwhile, Brice and his partner, Brandon Kent, are investigating the brutal murders of two young women by what appears to be a serial killer. As Brice becomes more deeply involved with Terryn,...more
I have been waiting for Brice's book ever since I finished reading Table For Three and I was so not disappointed!!! I cannot say enough how much I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book!!!! Brice *sigh*
Damaged Goods grabbed a hold of me right from the start and didn't let go until the end. I absolutely LOVED Brice and Terryn. It's been about two years since I've ready Lainey Reese's first novel, 'Table for Three' and I was THRILLED to find out that she continued the New York series with Brice's story.
Let me just say that I've read 'Table for Three' more times than another other book on recollection. It was that good and infinitely, eons of times better than 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
Christian Grey? HA. Try Kincade Marshall AND Trevor Wellington. They make Grey look like an amateur.

Wow, this is definitely one of those series that keeps getting better by each book - I loved Brice and Terryn and their connection. Hot scenes yet again, and the suspense in this book works. It also sets us up for the next book, which makes me so happy!! So Brice is investigating a murder, and he needs to relax and heads to his cousins restaurant and plans to end up at the club and find some stress relief - he follows Terryn into the private club and sees that Terryn is a new sub and immediately...more
This book took a different focus from the first in the series, Table for Three. That story was first and foremost about an incredibly intense fascination by two guys for a woman. An incredibly intense, obsessive love. Unreal but ... wow! This latest book is the story of a cop who also happens to be a dom. The sex scenes are well done but not as integral to the story or plot as in the former book. They could've been left out and the plot would have survived. Unfortunately, the sex was more intere...more
This was a great follow up to A Table for Three (just wish I didn't have to wait so long for it).
I haven't read the first book for a very long time but felt that those characters were accurate when they appeared in this book. The "bad guy" was more believable than brat in this book - likely due to Brice being a homicide cop.
I liked Terryn. I liked the interactions between her and Brice. The BDSM aspect was very central to the book but I didn't feel that it took over. I liked that Brice was less...more

Any M/F romance that can take and keep my attention away from my current obsession with M/M romances, as this book did (albeit kicking and screaming) deserves at least 3 STARS. I really enjoyed A Table for Three by the same author and so I was looking forward to reading this one.
The story worked for me because of the super-hot sex...toys, voyeurism, group fun and menage. What did not work for me was the suspense, which I thought ended a bit lame. Also since almost all the interactions between B...more

Ok...I didn't think this series could get any hotter, but it did. Damaged Goods, was even better than the first book, in my opinion. I fell in love with this couple and I liked the added drama/suspense of the murder investigation.
Let me introduce you to Brice. Brice is Cade's cousin from the first book and he's also a detective. Like Cade, Brice is a dom. He frequents the club, but has yet to find that special sub to call his own. When he meets Terryn, his world is shaken. Terryn is new to the...more

I loved this book.
Its actually nice that these were not college students, but real grown up people!
I thought the storyline was great, the gritty who done it ! I thought the characters played their parts great, so so loved Brice, I like him from Table for 3, and so loved catching up with Riley, Trevor and Cade, such a great trio! I was lovely to meed new characters, I think Gage is going to be great in his story next! cant wait.

This is one of my favorite quotes ever!
'As she proceeded to drown her seafood sample platter in so much heat it made his mouth burn just to watch, she said, “By the way…no butt sex.”
Kent inhaled instead of swallowed the shrimp in his mouth and as he coughed and choked, she continued without looking up, “I mean it. No butt sex. I don’t get why anyone would do that, ya know?” She took a large bite of Atlantic cod, chewed a couple time...more

This is a very good shorter story. Ms. Reese can pack a lot into a story. It was nice to see Cade, Trevor and Riley again. Those three can burn up the pages when their around. I was glad that Brice was able to find someone that would challenge him and make him see that working all the time isn't a good thing. There is also a secondary romance between Brice's partner and one of the victim's. This romance was a nice addition. There isn't quite as much Domination/submission in this story as there w...more
I was curious to see where the story would go, since this is somewhat a continuation of Table for Three. Some of the language is intense, along with some of the scenes, Was not a fan of the shower play scene But, I was more interested in the story to see who the killer was and let's say, it didn't disappoint...leaves you kind of guessing up until the end, though you kind of suspect. Really don't see why Gage was needed, except for the lead in to the next book. But, that's just me. I do like the...more
Ok so the only thing I don't get about this book was the title. Brice is scrumptous and every girls fantasy character. The scenes played out in this book were downright criminal and damn near had me climbing the walls. Wow! I kind of wish they went into a little more detail about the crazed lady killer to understand why she did what she did, it feels like she should have had a bigger role in the book than what she did but the hot sex scenes made up for it. Overall, I don't really understand what...more
This story picks up with the detective cousin ( of Cade/Trevor characters) Brice's story. It's a more serious plot, a serial killer is at large and she is killing women. Terryn is the new women in Brice's life, of course they meet at his cousins club, this time we get to hear more about the BDSM rooms and what goes on in them. Well that's an eye opener. I liked the subtle inclusion of the original ménage including Riley, that worked well.

Ohhhh buddy. Lainey Reese is going to kill all of us, I swear. She forces us to read her books like this:

I think "Damaged Goods" should've been book 1 - it's more story, less, um, playtime than "A Table for Three." But still a seriously hot, entertaining read. I'm asking Santa for a water room. I NEED A WATER ROOM!!!! And all of the occupants in the water room too.
Here's to hoping Gage gets more face time in a third book...there better be a third book!

Finished this book last night after a friend recommended it to me. Brice is a detective as well as a Dom who meets Terryn due to a murder investigation. She is new to the BDSM scene and Brice is immediately attracted to her and wants her submission as well as her heart. I struggled connecting to these characters a little bit. They just seemed to fall for each other pretty fast, long before they ever really knew anything about each other. I think I would have liked the book more if the character...more

I am sorry to say I was disappointed; one this book was much dark which would have been Ok but I truly felt like it messed with the characters in book 1.

I really liked this second story in the series. Brice and Terryn were perfect together. I also liked the suspense even though I figured out who was the villain right away. I enjoyed seeing my favorite trio from the first book. Mercy, these people are naughty and kinky. At times it was over the top. I mean really, how could 1 woman live through 50 orgasms in one night? I especially liked the wet play contest between both groups. I fell in love with cowboy Gage and hope he gets a story. I think I...more
Let's just say I was incredibly disappointed in this one. I just didn't like it . . period. Chances are I may not read anything else from this author, seeing as though her first book wasn't very good either. This one was even worse than that one.

Damaged Goods, Lainey Reese’s second installment of her New York Series features Brice, the cop we met in Table For One (book one).
Two years have passed from where we left things off in book one, and it was great seeing that Riley, Cade, and Trevor are still going strong and are better than ever. *happy sigh* They all wish Brice could find the same happiness they have.
