This is my book so I can't really rate it fairly. It is my first non-fiction book though and my first co-authored book. I'd love to see what others who have read it think.

I was extremely disappointed with this book. Since I love reading about BDSM and think female Dominants are intriguing and interesting, I had this audiobook on my wish list for several months. The synopsis led me to believe that I would get to hear firsthand accounts of how a FemDom and her 24/7 submissive lived their lives. I can't really explain why, but this book just absolutely didn't do anything for me. I think I found the writing to be a bit on the smug side, and the Kindle edition is heinously edited - there's OCR errors EVERYWHERE that prove really distracting.

It's rare for me to not finish a book, but I couldn't finish this one - just found it bland and unsatisfying, and when I stopped reading to do other things, I didn't really want to go back to it. I couldn't tell you a single bit of useful information

Overall, I thought this was a thoughtful and useful discussion of D/s relationships, or any romantic relationship, really. I would definitely recommend it. My only problem was probably the portion on sex; it seemed to gloss over the topic, though I realize it must have seemed like a daunting task since there are so, so many possible variations, especially for the writer's audience.

This is a very interesting view on how it is possible to adopt what is termed a FLR (Female Led Relationship) and TammyJo describes not only the advantages, but also some of the pitfalls. If you're looking to 'live the lifestyle', then this is one book you should definitely read.

Brilliant! This is the book for anyone interested in building a Female Led Relationship, including those of us in more conventional relationships that that over which Dr Eckhart rules so magnificently.
