i recommend this book to everyone! its hilarious and reads like a eulogy to all our heroes fallen under the curse of politics/dictatorship (r. ouko, ken saro wiwa, sankara etc). the ruler of niagra could very well be a combination of a number of african dictators- amin, abacha, mobutu etc. The thing i liked most about this book is that it intersperses fact with fiction- hence sometimes you are not quite sure if events described happened in reality or is a figment of wilmot's imagination. that's...more
