I have read a few of the heartsong books but this is the first one I have liked. The heroine was actually believable and did something for herself. Like all the other heartsong books I have read the story line was simple and parts it felt flat. All in all a nice quick read that was enjoyable in most parts.

It wasn't the best book I ever read, but it was good for light reading. It also had good old-fashioned moral values which is not always found in novels today.
