Recommends it for: fans of Factoid Books
This isn't my favorite of the Factoid Books, but it is pretty much ok. There's a mix of real bad guys (not very many bad women included) and fictional villains. My favorite section is #6, "Bad Taste," which includes comics about Ronald Reagan's acting career (the best people could say about him was that he showed up on time and sober), disaster movies (really, movies that were disasters), John Water ("The Pope of Trash"), and Liberace. So bad it's good.

the book is terrible and so are the characters. it is a collection of stories written comic book style about the worst people you could possibly favourite is either the vampire of hanoever or jb holmes i like them both because they are both very dicrete and imaginitive killers.

As always "The Big Book of..." series never fails to entertain. This book contains the best of the worst Bad Guys, Bad Movements (in history), Bad Science, Bad Sports, and Bad Taste. The word bad is used in all of it's various connotations. This book's so bad it's good.

Recommends it for: Anyone who wants to learn real history- in a fun setting
GREAT start to a series of books that is unfortunately out of print.
They are factual stories that are too good (or bad) to be true, but are! All are written in comic book style.
I recommend the whole series except the Big Book of Grimm- that one fell a bit flat.
