This wasn't bad. I certainly enjoyed the geographical perspective and the annotated city maps, which were large, colourful, and on quality stock. Also, the summaries of each detective series included interwoven backgrounds covering not only the author's real life and the character's fictional life, plus the "life" of the books themselves from a market standpoint — an interesting triad of perspectives.
