I received an electronic copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The cover and the description led me to expect a sexcapade, and indeed, there's a lot of sex and sexuality in this book, but frankly, it's actually a period romance with sex. And a professionally written one at that. The story, characters and plot were all well-told and richly detailed. I don't understand why this story has gotten such a low rating so far, unless people were expecting something other than what they got.

Escape from the Harem delivers on the eroticism. Without giving away the plot, I noticed the author places a premium on character development which engrosses the reader into the story. The plot is intriguing. I rate this book a four-star read!
