Christopher Conlon is an incredibly gifted writer who turns out poetry, short stories, and novels with ease--each a brilliant piece of artistry. Conlon doesn't write best-sellers. He writes literature.

He draws the reader in by creating characters that are brutally real and does not shy away from disturbing personalities or situations.

I enjoy his short stories the most, and SAYING SECRETS contains a delightful collection of them. My favorite short stories in SAYING SECRETS are "The Map of the Wo

Stellar first collection by Conlon, only to be outdone by his second, THUNDERSHOWERS AT DUSK. Both are essential for the bookshelf of fans of elegant, emotionally hard hitting, dark fiction.
