Nice little rhyming book about all the kinds of boats that are in a harbor working hard.

Primary colored illustrations depict the action of the harbor and communicate the busy reality of life at sea. Lots to look at and discover.

This book would work well for a transportation themed story time for toddlers - the text is really spread out here.

If you go into this book expecting to find an interesting story you will be sorely disappointed. Repetitive in a bad way and without much variety in the wording, it is boring both to read aloud and to listen to. The art style is interesting and a particular favorite of the boy I babysit, but even that wasn't enough for him to ask for a second read-through.
transportation, bright colors simple text

I love Susan Steggall's art, and this little rhyming text is pleasant to read over and over. My son loves making the noise of seagulls and pointing emphatically at cars in the background. A winner!

Great pictures, lots of detail, rhyming text but rhymes not obvious because they're spread too thinly over pages. Would be good for small group at storytime or use with document camera.

Definitely a good picture book for a 3-year old boat enthusiast like my son.
