“Of Good and Evil” by Gerald G. Griffin:

A quick pace and an intriguing, action-packed story are what Gerald G. Griffin delivers in this no-nonsense, timely novel.

Trained as a Green Beret but born with unique, almost paranormal abilities, Ron Sheffield carries with him guilt for being the lone survivor of his squad during a mission. Which mission puts into his possession documents the government wishes he'd never seen and tries to kill him for.
He meets Amber Ash while recovering from a severe bea

Author Gerald Griffin displays noteworthy chops in forging his debut thriller, "Of Good and Evil." His principal characters are vivid, vibrant and troubled, and sufficiently well-crafted to allow readers to root for them. In lesser hands, that many of the main characters are gifted with varying degrees of paranormal perceptivity might detract from other elements of the story, but that's not so in this novel. To his credit, Griffin's handling of those characters' exceptional abilities is understa ...more

Right on target! OF GOOD AND EVIL by Gerald G. Griffin (http://www.authorgeraldgriffin.com & http://geraldggriffin.blogspot.com/) is a spellbinding and spectacular story of nobility, humanity and a captivating love story in the battle of spirit versus tyranny; a page-turner that spits out fire like a Gatling gun! Crisp, clean, and clear, engrossing the reader in humanity, love, villains, and sorrow, all intermixed as one enticing conflict, the novel is a gripping, hard-charging tale of a Gre ...more

“Good and Evil” is a book for readers of different tastes. It is a military story, it is a romance story, it is a Mafia story, a secret society story and a psychic phenomenon read. May appeal to many. Story line: Takes the reader from the Gulf War in the 1990’s where Ron Sheffield’s brother is KIA (Killed in Action). Like many other Gold Star siblings, Ron follows his brother into the military, where he forms a strong attachment to his “Band of Brothers”. His Green Beret’s are massacred, due to ...more

Of Good and Evil by Gerald G. Griffin is an action-packed ride from start to finish! We are introduced to the main character, Ron Sheffield, in the heat of battle and quickly realize there is more to Ron than meets the eye. Something So Right is a very relate able novel to so many ( or at least it was to me). If you have ever been in a abusive relationship you know how hard it is to get out of it, and then when you do it's even harder to mover on because you are so scared to death of getting hurt you rationalize not wanting to hurt the other person. That is just what Lily is going through, she has been terribly hurt by the man she was going to marry that when she decides that she loves her best friend Sam she tells ...more

After a brief email exchange with the author, Mr. Griffin was kind enough to send me a copy of his novel for my review, as long as I post reviews in various places. Like a junkie needing a constant fix (not like I don't have thousands and thousands of books in my to-read queue), I jumped at the opportunity. I had to finish a couple of books first, but I finally got a chance to dig into this offering.

First, I really like the creativity Griffin brought with Ron, Amber and the "skill sets" of vario

What Did I Think?

WOW! Angels & Demons?

I'm normally not a huge fan of Thrillers, but when you toss in a wee bit of a love, who can resist that? Not Me!

Without being real descriptive as to issue a "Spoiler Alert", Gerald has a 'Best Seller' on his hands with, "OF Good and Evil"!
I really enjoyed many aspects of his book. His writing style was awesome, great work on how he wrote his characters to truly stand out, with a Twist of Love in the air.

I can admit when starting Gerald's book, that it's
