Clarise Robinson has never walked on the wild side, much less ran naked through it. But when she hits 30, she decides it's time to loose some inhibitions. And of course, a weekend getaway with the girls at work is the perfect occasion to let down hair--literally. The best place to do it? Tampa during the Gasparilla Festival. And when the one person she's always had a crush ...more

I absolutely loved this book. As a plus sized or curvacious lady, this book gave me the confidence to really look at what I wear. To see the plus in plus sized fashion. I couldn't put it down. There were some drop dead sexy scenes and it had just the right amout of details. Not overly detailed that you don't get to use a little imagination here and there. I loved the twist and the way they settled their snag... Alltogether, the characters, settings, plot, and emotional degree all brought this bo ...more
Pretty sensual story if it wasn't for all the internal drama going on. Clarise is a curvy woman who is insecure and in love with her boss/best friend. Ethan is the owner of a clothing store, Clairise his top salesperson. But when she shows up to the Christmas party in a sexy red number, he realizes that he has to keep his distance or lose his friend. But when he shows up at the corporate bonding trip unexpectedly, he witnesses Clairise in her naked glory, flashing the crowd while drunk. That nig ...more

This is THE single most aggravating book I've ever had the misfortune of not reading (could not bring myself to finish it! Stopped on page 56.) Or maybe that's how they wrote books back in 2006.

The MC's inner monologue will suck the life out of you!

It can literally carry on for 3 consecutive pages!!! and it's not even amusing! She just continues to whine about how huge her boobs are *rolling my eyes furiously* and how desperate she is for her boss's body!

The MC never stops thinking about sed
Between the wordy thought processes and the wordy sex scenes, I really had a hard time getting through this. There was a good story plot in there, but I did a lot of skipping pages to get to it. The author could have cut this book in half and would have had a better book.
It had a great story line but I found the author had too much in-between character thinking. I love books that flow like a movie and I found this 1 buffering more than I like.
Couldn't get into the book. Read about 5 chapters and decided to bail.
This is a cute romance. The main female character is well endowed, not skinny, and determined to have her boss fall in love with her. The boss realizes he loves the female character, but, of course, through a series of misunderstandings, it takes the whole book and a lot of drama and angst for them to finally get together.

The book could have used a bit more editing. When a character waxes on about the same subject, just repeating himself or herself, but with slightly different ways of saying it

This was featured on a library 'must read' shelf, but really, it's not a must read - and I am the target market, being a woman who is not a size 2. It got better after the author got past the set-up - a plus sized gal who's in love with her boss, but lets loose at a Pirate Festival. The beginning felt awkward and forced, like the author was expecting the reader to just make the 'in love with the boss' association instead of doing the legwork to lay the grounds for sympathetic characters. And the ...more
It was pleasant and I actually like that they didn't have the main character putting down other women. I mean she focused on herself.. I feel that I have read a lot of books with the main character be on the "larger" side. What I found is the main character is shaming all the skinny women Or she is really harsh on her own self. I think this one was modest and honest. I liked the main character being kind of serious, bubbly, and little dense. No, I dont think this book is perfect but there is no ...more

Clarise Robinson is uncomfortable in her body in a size 2 world. But is it a size 2 world? Based on the looks her curves get, it just may not be. Ethan Eubanks, Clarise's boss and best friend, is definitely a fan of curves. Specifically, Clarise's curves. After encouraging Clarise to let loose while attending a company team-building weekend at Gasparilla (Tampa's Mardi Gras), Ethan suddenly isn't sure whether Tampa is ready for Clarise "unplugged"....or maybe he just doesn't want to share. Good ...more

I am a curvy woman myself and this book spoke right to me from the very beginning!!! I couldn't put it down so I read it in two hours in between college classes!!! I have actually re read it a few times just because it was so good!! It shows you that curvy or not you can love yourself and not be afraid to fall in love!!! It's one of my favorite books now.
I really hate not being able to give a book with such a great title 5 stars, but I had too many issues to award more than 3. The protagonist is like a size 16...which IS considered plus-size in today's "the-anorexic-look-is-still-too-fat" society. And don't get me wrong. A size 16 is chubby. However, the clothing choices that this girl made are not the clothing choices of someone who is ashamed, sensitive, or embarrassed of their weight. The phrases 'skin tight' and 'body hugging' do not enter t ...more
Clarise Robinson, has a career that she loves. She has a loving family and great friends. But what she wants, not what, but who she fantasizes about is her boss (and friend) Ethan. But she’s not Ethan’s type, she has curves, and the Robinson Treasures. And she hopes that the trip to Tampa will change that…maybe Ethan will see her as more than just a coffee buddy.

This book is sizzling hot! I had to stop a few times to fan myself. Wow! Clarise and Ethan’s chemistry is amazing. The transition betwe

I loved it even more the second time I read it! What a fun read! So easy to fall in love with the characters.
I loved this novel. Wonderfully written, sweet, sassy, and sexy. I read it in under one day. I did not want to put it down.
I learned that I should not read books with titles like "Real Women Don't Wear Size 2." It makes me wonder if the author is an unfulfilled fat girl who loves giving blow jobs. The sexual tension in this book is unrealistic, the male lead speaks funny as in, he uses "not in real life" speech and reading about insecure fat girls really doesn't do anything for me. Especially since the way Clarise is described makes her sound more like a fatty from the mid-west than a lovely voluptuous Salma Hayek b ...more

It was ok. Not great, but ok.

I loved this book! It was so amazing to read a book about a woman who wasn't skinny but found confidence and romance! In this world they teach you being skinny is key to attract the opposite sex and no you should be happy to be you!

This is one of my favorite Books! Besides the fact that more than half of it takes place in Tampa at Gasparilla...just the idea that a man like this could possibly exist one day is enough to feed my fantasises for years to come!
