This is a great collection of the Mego toys from the '70s and early '80s. The photos are great and I love how they shoot the figures from every angle. It's a must have for any action figure collector.

I was lucky to win this book through the Goodreads giveways. This s a wonderful book.

It gives a comprehensive history of the Mego corpration then goes into details about the subject of the book the Super-Heroes action figures that came to popularity in the 1970's and early 1980's. From Superman to Batman, the Joker to the Green Goblin, and Batgirl to Isis the book describes the body types, clothing, packaging and characters issued in the series. This was a birthday present from my wonderful wife and I can't thank her enough. I grew up playing with the Mego toys and it brought tears to my eyes to see them again. One day I'm going to track them all down and play with them just like I used to. Until that day comes, paging through this book will have to tide me over.

At the end of 2007, TwoMorrows published his book about the beloved toys of his childhood — produced by a company called Mego. The book is now Sold Out of print, but after-market copies are available through Amazon.com.
