This book had my full attention from the first chapter and then I couldn’t put it down. Rachel Clark is a drama teacher looking to make a fresh start and from the moment she meets Cam McKenna there is tension and determination from them both. Cam lost his wife and son in a car accident years ago and continues to blame himself for their deaths. Even though he has recovered from the devastation he is fierce and overly protective of his business. He has no intention of allowing
"Seeking His Love" by Carrie Turansky is a book where the title most certainly has a double meaning to it. I found myself laughing, crying and a wide variety of other emotions as I read the book.

Every single one of the characters are so well developed that even the minor characters of the twins had their own personality that I couldn't help but laugh at. My heart broke with one characters past and was fearful for another character because of their past. A couple of the characters I was even will
A wonderful story about family and the power of forgiveness. This was one of my "random" reads. I found a copy at the library, thought the cover was pretty and the summary on the back sounded interesting, so I read it and am glad I did. It completely captured my attention and I will be looking for more from this author. :)

Seeking His Love by Carrie Turansky
Book 1
Cam McKenna is not the most cheerful man around. His wife and son were killed in a car accident four years ago and he carries the guilt of thinking he could have prevented it. He had no desire to ever love again….he thought. Then Rachel Clark entered into their co-op looking to rent space in their building. No way did he want her in the building or in his thoughts, where she seemed to take residence.

Rachel left her past behind her in Seattle to start over

I really liked the themes in this story: forgiveness, trusting completely in God, reconciliation. I thought it was a little more 'deep' in that way than other Love Inspired books tend to be. That said, there was still a sweet love story involved and characters that I came to care about.
3.5 stars

A wonderful book that weaves the story of The Prodigal Son into it, and stresses the importance of family and forgiveness. I will definitely be looking for more of Carrie's books to read in the future!
This was definitely one of my favorite reads in 2013!
