I was lucky enough to receive a free copy of this book from the Goodreads drawing, and I have to say, I wasn't sure quite what to expect; only recently have I gotten into romance novels.

However, this one did not disappoint: it had steamy action, likeable characters and a great plot to go with it. Often in romance, I feel things drag: either I want more plot, or I want more love scenes, and I skim pages to get to the juicy stuff. I am happy to report that Her Banished Lord had the More...

HER BANISHED LORD by Carol Townend is a historical Medieval romance set in 1066 Normandy and England. It is well written with depth,details,twists, turns, fast paced and a keeper. I finished-HER BANISHED LORD- what a wonderful read! captures the time period so very well- and WOW- great characters and plot!!! I cannot recommend this magical book more highly!!
