I picked this book up while at the CHEF conference in Missouri as it was recommended to me on the subject of theonomy. I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting, but based on the title, I thought it might compare our original American form of government with biblical law. As an instructor at at conservative Christian university, I use this as supplemental material for a Christian Faith and Government course that I teach. The books fits well with an upper division class, but I would not recommend it for a class like GOV 101. Anyone generally interested in the reason and purpose of government from a Judeo-Christian perspective should read the book.
