Two sizzling-hot authors. One incendiary volume. Four can play at this game...
In "Pillow Talk" by Maya Banks, Zoe is a woman in a committed relationship with her boyfriend Chase. Then one night, Chase reveals his number-one fantasy, which involves his two best buddies. Is Zoe game? She sure is, because it opens the door for a secret fantasy all her own. In Shayla Black's

This review is for the 1st story Pillow Talk by Maya Banks

Wow!
This was one of the most erotic book I have ever read! That's not a lot but this is steaming HOT.

First, I just want to say that I didn't agree with the plot of the the couple's fantasy to become a reality but this was thier story and I had to accept that for them.

Chase and Zoe had a healthy appetite for sex and thier "pillow talk". They talked plenty of thier fantasy as part of four play and well, they will definitly be cross

*clears throat* Well this was *clears throat* ummm...exactly as the title entails....Four Play and sometimes five and it was full on sex, sex, SEX.

These ladies were slaying more sausage then my local butcher and I am quite embarrassed to say that I really enjoyed it.

Not sure why these ladies had 3 sexy, successful men drooling over them like they had beer flavoured nipples...but seeing as though this isn’t based on a true story, I just went with the flow.

Definitely not for the faint hearted. B

This review/rating is ONLY for Shayla Black’s Her Fantasy Men

I am a HUGE fan for Black’s Wicked Lovers series so I was definitely interested in reading more from her. At first, I was a little skeptical about reading about a foursome. I just didn’t think it was possible. Okay, well physically, I know how it works out but emotionally, I thought it would be a challenge. How can someone be in love with three different guys equally?

I’ve read other eroticas and have been disappointed with the heroe

This is kinda an anthology (2 sexy menage stories). I haven't finished the 2nd story yet, but I may. It's ok-ish, but I just wasn't feeling it.

Pillow Talk - Maya Banks (4 stars)

For those who know me and the books I read, know that I love Ms. Banks's work. They are so... hot and kinda impossible in reality, but realistic-like. Basically the characters seem believable despite their insane menage situations which they seem to accept as kinky but

Four Play by Maya Banks Pillow Talk by Maya Banks

How does a boyfriend and a girlfriend attempt to fulfill each other’s wildest sexual fantasies while involving their roommates and fellow best friends? Yeah, I can’t see it happening, either. I liked Zoe and Chase. For that matter, I liked Brody and Tate. Heck, I liked Dillon and felt a little sorry for him. Out of all the characters, he was the only one I had an emotional connection to. Ok, so… not my favorite. It wasn’t bad exactly… it just wasn’t, well, good.

This book was a fabulous Sex-apaloosa!!! To say I love a good menage read is putting it lightly!! I absolutely loved the first story Pillow Talk I simply liked the second story Her Fantasy Men, let me tell you why...When I read a menage I want fantasy, I want all the men to simply want to please the woman, I don't want jealousy and sniping, i just want hot sex with a HEA. Now, don't get me wrong they both pretty much have the HEA, they wrapped up nicely but in Her Fantasy Men it didn't start out ...more

Total smut. First story wasn't bad, skipped the second. The rating is for the first story and it probably isn't fair that I am even rating it because if you like this storyline it might have been very good. I liked the idea of playing out the fantasies, they were very hot, but I didn't buy into the ending. I say I am old fashion, but then I am reading a story like this. I just can't believe in a HEA of one girl and three guys living together in one non- jealous relationship. This has been in my ...more

Although these stories are really far fetched, I somehow really liked them both. Warning that there are multiple partners. I don't mind this when I can feel that all parties are ok with it and there's love between them all. So this is only for poeple who like multiples, if not, don't even crack this book!

I really liked this one, particularly the Banks story, but then I always enjoy her. She really has a way of getting you to suspend disbelief.

And though I typically have some problems with D/s, Black's story worked for me.
Sarah
I liked both stories quite a bit.

Pillowtalk - the relationship between all four friends was special. The guys were great and I liked Zoe a lot as well. I liked how she and Chase were open and receptive to each other's fantasies. Tate and Brody were awesome!! I didn't like the addition of Dillon - he tainted a good thing and Chase almost wrecked the entire situation for everyone. I'm glad he figured it out and everything worked out.

Her Fantasy Men - was a totally different situation. Tucker was

Pillow Talk, the Maya Banks story, was fantastic. It was entertaining. It was plausible. It set up a fantasy situation that, even if you didn't think YOU would ever participate in this kind of situation, it was still something you could imagine. Or, at least, it was something I could imagine. Maybe that's all I should say about THAT. :-)

ANYWAY, I normally don't like short stories, but Banks had sufficient character development to make the story worthwhile. I thought the addition of Dillon was a

I skipped the first story, because I’m not a fan of Maya Banks. I’ve read multiple novels from her, but only managed to finish one, because I can’t stand her female lead characters. They are always described as ‘strong women’, yet to me are very weak, weepy (they cry so much you could make a drinking game of it) and always rely on the help from males. I know that’s a fantasy and some people enjoy the whole ‘getting taken care of by a big burly sexy man’, but personally I’m not one of them.

I didn't read the second story because I'm not a fan of the author.

The first story however, HOT DAMN.

My ONLY complaint, the guys should have hooked up, break open that barrier that way when Zoe isn't around, they can fuck each other!

“Pillow Talk” by Maya Banks. Two lovers decide to play out each other’s wildest sexual fantasies, with unexpected results... or are they?

This seemed at first like another trip to the boringly perfect world of fantasy menage, where no one is ever jealous or upset or conflicted. Then it took an interesting turn. I didn’t get into the part of the story that was basically just Zoe having lots of sex with a stranger, though it turned out to be important to the plot. Just not interested in reading se

Pillow Talk by Maya Banks

I usually love Maya Banks for the characters she writes. Well, seeing how this is a novella about how a boyfriend and a girlfriend attempt to fulfill each other’s wildest sexual fantasies while involving their roommates and fellow best friends, the character development sort of takes a back seat. Don’t get me wrong, the characters are fine. I just didn’t find them to be overly gripping. But I think it’s more because of the subject matter. I mean, c’mon. My wildest sexual

Adventurous readers who enjoy plenty of spice in their stories will find a haven in this anthology. These 2 stories involve a woman with multiple male partners.

In the first story by Maya Banks, Chase and Zoe play out their fantasies. They love each together but Chase gets off on seeing her make love with other men and he invites them to join them and even ‘role’ play. But it gets out of hand when 2 of the other

Pillow Talk - by Maya Banks 3/5

At the beginning of this story I was really into it. It features main characters Zoe and Chase (who happens to be a yummy firefighter). After a round of spontanious panty combusting sex they are having themselves a little pillow talk and they start talking about their fantasies. Both fantasies are pretty incredible to be honest.

Well the vast majority of the story, ok all but a couple pages, are about fulfilling those fantasies. In the beginning the sex scenes were

I really liked this book and the two stories about the women in love with more than one man. I did think that the Maya Banks story was the stronger one.

With her story, Banks starts out with a couple that talk about their fantasies. During the course of the conversation others are brought in. Chase and Zoe live in a house with their best friends Brody and Tate. So when other people are going to be introduced into the relationship it only makes sense to bring in their friends. Things seem to go gr

The idea of a romance between three men and one woman seems pretty crazy to me. Maybe that's why I selected this book. The premise invites the reader to "just go with it." There's no expectation of anything but an over-the-top erotic escapade.

Banks' story was rougher and raunchier, IMO, despite the less overt BDSM play. Zoe and her boyfriend live out their wildest fantasies with two hot male friends. At one point they kidnap, blindfold, and have group sex with her. Luckily, she loves it! I'm no

1) I read this because I needed a break from the slog which is Fifty Shades of Terrible and wanted a reminder that I do like the erotic romance genre.

2) "Pillow Talk" by Maya Banks is available separately as an ebook. As I enjoyed it significantly more than Shayla Black's "Her Fantasy Men," I recommend going that route. ("Pillow Talk" is the four star story. "Her Fantasy Men" on its own would have warranted a low three.) "Pillow Talk" shows the organic growth of multiple romantic/sexual relation

Pillow Talk by Maya Banks

Zoe is in a committed relationship with Chase. One night they begin discussing racy fantasies that involve voyeurism and multiple partner sex. When they start to play out these fantasies with their roommates and best friends Brody and Tate it gets complicated quickly. I loved the feeling of camaraderie between Chase, Tate, Brody and Zoe. It made it easier for me to buy into the premise of the story. Though, like Tate and Brody, I also felt betrayed by some of the events

Just finished reading Four Play and all I can say is Wowza! Those ladies know how to write a hot story.

Pillow Talk by Maya Banks was amazing. Incredibly sexy and erotic. When a couple embarks on acting out their fantasies it makes for an emotional read which is always a great thing. The three men in this story were all incredibly sexy, strong alpha males who really cared about Zoe. I always enjoy a great menage story but this one was incredibly well done. Maya Banks did a fantastic job of explori

I'm going with four stars for Maya and 3 1/2 for the second story. There's nothing really wrong with these stories, but they just didn't zing like some others I've read. If you want a great example of three men/one woman, try the Colter's from Maya.

In Maya's story, there was too much sex with random people. I know it only happened twice, but I don't buy into the whole "I love you but I also love watching strange people take your body". I can't separate that so I wasn't into that part. The rest w

Holy cannoli! This is NOT AT ALL what I was expecting. I was waiting on a book to come off hold at the library, so I checked this one out thinking it was four short novellas by Maya Banks and Shayla Black -- both author's that I've read, and liked, at least on occasion -- I could read one of the stories, maybe two, before my book-on-reserve came available to me. I have to say that I liked Pillow Talk more than Her Fantasy Men, and the whole reason I ordered this book was for Her Fantasy men.

Her Fantasy Men... It just seemed a bit rushed. Like the neighbor (who's only called upon to fix things around her house) comes over to fix her tub and right away the " I love yous" start.

Then the boss at work goes from being a dominating WORK boss to "I didn't say you were allowed to leave." leading that to " I love you"

Tucker, I can understand that one. They wer

Both stories were very good: enough realism so you don't totally roll your eyes at what is truly a crazy scenario, and yet certainly exploring some sexual and relationship boundaries, which seems what this fantasy is about anyway.

Maya Banks' Pillow Talk is more on the former side, with her tale starting as dirty talk between two committed partners that then becomes real and then becomes more. The sex scenes in this book (particularly the first where the 4 hook up) can be on the rough side so be

Ok, Yes, this book is exactly what the title says it is. It's 2 short novels about foursomes. I love Maya Banks and though..ehhh, why not. Let's face it, the purpose of this book is pure lust and man can Maya deliver. She can write a slutty book like it's nobody's business. HOT. The other book was hot too. I liked it, but Maya takes the cake by far.
