True, the book is small, but it's not often that I read something without putting it down.
This one is brilliant, very easy-going and extremely emotional. It shows very complicated matters through the eyes of an innocent and impressionable child. Its simplicity is touching. Un prêtre qui se prend pour le Noé des temps modernes en cherchant à sauver les civilisations, peuples, cultures, mis en danger par le contexte mondial sauve des enfants juifs, apprend le yiddish et découvre le judaïsme pour le cas où la Shoah réussirait son sale boulot. C'est génial comme idée.
Mais quand un des enfants fait preuve d'une vivacité d'esprit surprenante pour ces 7 ans, la rencontre entre ces 2 personnages merveilleux donne un échange sur la vie et la religion...more
